We just got this call this afternoon. Luckily, my young daughter answered the phone and 'talked' to the voice prompter. It quickly said goodbye and disconnected. Now it's time to head over to the Do Not Call list....

This is a new form of robocall where the illegal telemarketer uses a phone voice prompter to sound like a real person who asks pre-recorded questions, records your answers and prescreens you for a live person. They are just doing prescreening for some Lower Your Mortgage Scam that has been around awhile.

Report them to your State's Attorney General's office and the FTC, though I think the latter is asleep at their desks since my level of SCAM calls has increased exponentially the last few years.
