I have told them to take my three numbers off the list four times but they still keep calling.  What legal actions can I take?

People from this number and don't leave messages.. the time I answer, it is a machine asking me to wait while connecting ..

These people will not stop calling me even though I have asked numerous times!! I have called the DO NOT CALL List 3 times and still nothing happens!! I have nothing to do with this company and want nothing to do with them!! Who are they and Why do they continuoslly call??? Tied of them and their rude people!!

THANK YOU!!! I called the number and they took me off of their list.  I advised this number is new to me and they said, OH, OK, so you dont know "Michelle"? and I said no I do not and I do not owe any debt collectors! Please please take my name off the list.  I called early in the morning.  A live person actually answered.  He assured me my number WILL be taken off the list.  I recommend doing the same.  Phew....

I went one step further and registered my number on the "do not call list" registry.

This company is called Diversified Consultants, which specializes in debt recovery for cell phone providers, landline phones, cable/TV companies, etc.  They are calling my husband's new, temporary phone number, probably trying to reach the previous owner of that number.  (Thankfully this will end when he ports his real number over to the new provider.)  When I called the number 15 minutes after they called (8:45 pm weeknight) the recorded message said all their agents were busy "helping" other clients.  Riiiiiight.  These people need to be shut down.  I would recommend that if they are calling you in error, do try to catch them and talk to them if you want the calls to end.  Debt collectors generally do stop calling if you tell them they've reached the wrong person.  (I have a very common name and from time to time I have received multiple calls from these nincompoops with weak, error-filled data bases.  They use magical thinking to construct them.)  They will just keep calling and calling and calling until you tell them they have the wrong person.  They won't give up; it will go on for months or years.  It's a game of whackamole, but at least you can make some progress.  Just be courteous, stick to your guns, and of course don't give them any sensitive info, like your SSAN.  The agents I have talked to have actually been very cooperative and professional and take my word as truth.

They seem to call about 11:00 am every other day. I never answer if I mxant identify caller. This us very annoying!!!

I too receive calls from this number every other day. I have yet to pick up. They never leave a message. Extremely annoying.

This bank, with which I have not EVER done ANY BUSNIESS, calls ever day, leaves no message; they are exceptionally ANNOYING!!!
