We get about 2 calls every month, asking for us to donate Clothing.
We have told them numerous times to stop calling but they keep calling.
They call from 512-443-0808 and sometimes from 512-443-3899 or 512-441-1503

This has been going on for over a year and we are tired of it and have asked that they take our number off their list.

I have about 6 phone numbers from these people saying their truck would be in my neighborhood tomorrow and could I leave clothes on the porch. I have asked them to stop calling me and they continue to call. If I call any of the numbers they are always busy,or disconnected. I went so far as to ask them to bring me some clothes - they hung up on me? What goes? How can we keep them from calling?

Dont trust these people, they call all the time even after you ask them too stop over and over,, I think thier phishing for personal info like your addresss etc, dont give it too them, I dont think they are who they say they are, they may be a collection ageny or something, I am quite sure of this the CMI Group most likely

This could be The ARC of Texas.  Every couple of months we get an orange card in the mail saying they will be in our neighborhood on a specific date and that they need clothing, etc. Shortly after the card arrives the phone starts to ring with the 512 area code and showing Clothing Donate on caller ID.  They never leave a message and to my knowledge, they have at least four other numbers besides the one listed above.

I already have four blocked and I got a call from this one today, the orange card also arrived in today's mail.  Coincidence?  Maybe, maybe not.  They are relentless, I'm hoping when I block this number that will be the last of them but I won't get my hopes up.

I read another post here about the same "Clothing Donate" people. They claimed that you could call the following number and be removed from their list: 1-888-880-4242. I just called a few minutes ago, and the woman said that she would remove my number--but she had to ask for my number (I guess they don't have caller ID...?), and then she asked me for my zip code. I asked her why she needed that (because that seemed odd to me...but then again, these calls seem odd to me). She said they call in "zip-code batches." So--out of desperation--I did give her my zip code. She didn't ask for any further information (nor would I have given it)...but only time will tell if I am finally free of their calls.

Ok, I spent two hours researching this.
These calls are from a legitimate charity called the "Paralyzed Veterans of America"(Texas Chapter). The main office is in Houston with satellites in Austin, San Antonio and Corpus.
Basically, they run several thrift stores and depend on clothes and small household items to resell. The profits benefit paralyzed war veterans.
To stop them from calling, contact them at 888 880-4242. When I called, a nice older lady said the calls would stop immediately.

Call constantly. I've asked them several times not to call. I filed a complaint tonight at https://www.donotcall.gov/

Annoying call, likely from telemarketers masquerading as a charity.
