They ask for a different person every time and leave collection type msgs.

They keep calling me and I never answered. Today I actually did and they told me they weren't allowed to say what the call was about until I verified my information. They wanted me to give them my address and all kinds of stuff. I hung up on them.

This stupid number calls me around twice a day. I am a freaking 11 year old. I don't have debt

they call at 8 am, 12 pm, 9 pm.  Never leave a message.  I work variable hrs and am often asleep and the calls wake me up.  Hate to turn the ringer off but will if I have to.  never leave a message.

This is a company who has taken over a federal student loan of mine. They are very persistent and call 2 or 3 times a day.

Keep calling about an unknown debt I have. Is it real?

I just got a call from this number 3 times today! I answered the first two times and there was nothing.  Just some unnoticeable background noise.  The third time I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  I'm thinking it's probably a collection company of a bogus collection company trying to trick people into giving some sort of payment information.  I'd be careful folks!  Hopefully someone will actually find out who they are!

Called my at work today. Said it was about a personal business matter and asked if I could verify my birthdate.  I asked what the call was regarding and the woman asked again if I could verify my birthdate.  I told her that I would not supply my personal information to her, especially if she wouldn't identify the company or simply state the reason she was calling!  Very rude and completely inappropriate.

This is a collection company that buys old debt.  DO NOT answer the phone when they call.  Chances are that if they have bought your old debt that they want to get you on the phone to acknowledge this debt and renew the statue of limitations on it.

Some woman has been calling me from this number but I can't understand what she's say cause of all the background noise. Today my mom tells me she called her number looking for me, I haven't lived with my mom in years, WTF!!!!! I found it rude and unprofessional!!!

I answered this call, says it is from Cincinnati, Ohio.  They started off saying this call could be recorded or monitored and then asked for a person that does not live here.

They keep calling me 3-4 times a day and never leave a message. Have no idea who this is. I just ignore the call. I'm tired of getting these calls as I am very sick and permanently disabled and have been bothered with these calls when I am trying to sleep.

I received a call on my answering machine...10/12/2010...stating they were calling about my neighbor and left a case #...etc and left her name...wanting me to call them...I deleted the message...wish I hadn't because I looked up today and should file a complaint with the FTC under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act....this is the second message I have received...and she has moved away...I hate the fact that they are looking up neighbors and calling...I would be very upset, if it was me they were trying to contact...and went about it this way.

General Revenue Corporation. They handle student loan recovery. Problem is, I am already on a payment plan, and have been for months. They can't seem to communicate internally.

These people called a few times without any message. They finally called and left a garbled message. A woman either had her mouth very close to the phone or has a horrible phone receiver. "Please call Kathryn O'Dayton [???] at 866 [ garbled] about [garbled]." If it's important, they should speak clearly and leave a clear message.

Or maybe they're deliberately obfuscating their message because somehow or other they'll get more money.

Have no idea who they are. Leave no msg..

Probably some debt collector who got kicked out of NY..

Called me three times in the last two weeks. Finally left a message that sounds like a collection call.  They state your name and then go through the usual junk of saying if you aren't the person then please hang up and that it is about a personal business matter.

Called me today in Charlotte, NC. Left a voicemail. Sounded like TV/typing in the background, no real message or voice other than the TV.

Received called heard tv in background..No one spoke
