My company is currently in Montreal, QC. Our 'HQ' is in Hamilton, ON. But the phone number that will show up on your phone, if I call you, will be 214-xxx-xxxx. This is a Texan area code. That is because we use IP phones. I wouldn't be able to tell you why we use Texas, specifically; I never bothered asking because it isn't relevant to my job.

But it is possible!

i think that you guys are all weird... sorry but that is a company who sales in a certain way bank account , and they also collect money for us and for canada... so maybe you get calls becose you have money owing to a company and the use that company to call you guys , and for your information , there is no one at the end of the line and its normal , all collection agency to that.. its a systeme where if you do answer they know at what time you are home and after that it will call you until you answer... they are alowd to call you guy`s at any time and at any number exepte your job , they are alowd to do it once.. so PAY YOUR BILLS AND STOP COMPLANING.

I'm getting the call too starting this morning. WHoever it is is messing with the wrong person, I'm just gonna set my computer to automatically dial that number every 3 minute. Pwnt.

Received 4 calls from this number last night. Wouldn't have bothered searching if it wasn't such an odd number.

Called me ten times in a row once. Extremly annoying.

I keep getting calls from this number. At least 3 per day, all hang ups or if I choose not to answer they don't leave a message.

When I did a people search for D Purdy in Montreal, I came up with the following number:

Maybe we should all call this number 100 times, night and day, and blow them outta the yellow snow, huh?

Constantly calls and hangs up several times daily - considered harrassment!

I have recieved a total of 4 calls now in the last hour on my cell phone from 5145555555 I do not recognize the number so I have not answered it. Just out of curiosity I googled the number and found a lot of scam information about the number. Now I am glad I haven't answered it.

We get the call a few times a day. it gets really annoying.

This number is calling at all hours of the day and is a pain in the butt.

I had same experience. Unfortunately I gave them account details and they charged me 169$ on my account .I am so finished pls anyone advise me what to do

I am sickof this 514-555-5555 number calling my cell phone 10-15 times a day I have twin 3 yr olds and other children that they wake up at all hours of the night.My cell phone provider wants me to pay to change my number thats not FAIR!!!!!!!!!! I just chnged it a few months ago for the same reason only different numbers.WHO THE HECK ARE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!How do we know it isn't our phone providers trying to make money annoying the heck out of us till we pay to change our numbers again????????????????????????

If you have the ability to forward calls based on the number calling, you can this -- because it works.

I selected the have the number 514-555-5555 auto forward to 514-555-5555 whenever they call. Now they go directly to the fake number they are using to hide their really identity.

I use VOIP and I can use this forwarding feature right from my online control panel.

You could also block the number if your phone company allows it.

I suspect the caller is also using VOIP and fiddling with a caller ID spoofing software, which is easy to get your hands on.

They have called me for the past month now at least 3 times a day and they never leave a message and when i answer they hang up- rather annoying!

I have gotten so many calls from this company and everytime I pick up the phone either someone isn't on the line or there is so much static that I just hang up. I am so happy I decided to google this number and read everyone's comments. It is so annoying to get calls like this on your cell phone. I don't have a home phone and use my cell for personal use and work use, I don't need these kind of calls coming on my phone.

these calls have been coming in for the last 2 months. ive been getting 18000000000, 15145555555 and 212-662-3536. none ever leave messages. however the 212 caller has a middle east accent and insists on speaking with my minor daughter. I have reported it to the police. They say there is absolutely nothing they can do about it. I have a voiceover ip (vonage) for my phone. i have filed a complaint with them also.

I too have been getting them from a mid eastern person who knew my name and I started screaming at him to stop calling this number and he said you have to tell me why, and I said, are you kidding me, you are harassing me and I'm interested in anything you have so knock it off!  I haven't gotten one since last Friday, so try the screaming method.

The caller told me that my phone no has been selected by his company to receive a free digital camera and an all paid vacation to any exotic location anywhere within the continental US,because of my patronage of a number of shopping malls and store in the last year(2007).And as a matter of appreciation,they deemed it fit to send it to me, but I'll have to pay $1.95 for shipping.When I asked where he's calling from,he mumbled some inaudible location and equally mentioned that the company has it's H/Q at Las Vegas.This actually would be the 27th phone call I'll be getting from these fraudsters,and what baffles me how they get all the information about somebody and go ahead thinking they could get money out of one just like that.It's a pity they are extremely very stupid.

i thought there was no such number as 5555555. they do the same to me as the other  people i answer they hang up i dont answer they dont leave a message ...

I have recieve 10 calls from this number since 8:00 this morning. Nobody is ever on the other end and they do not leave a message. VERY ANNOYING!
