area code NY  ID CALLER SAID  FLORIDA

Starts with automated woman's voice.  Says my car insurance will expire tomorrow, so pay it today to avoid loss of insurance.  I wait and a man comes on:  "What's your car year and make?" I said you called me, so you should know.  Phone slams down on his end. This is a scam call.  Reverse Phone lookup says it is from Nassau, NY.

Calls about weekday and sometimes twice and leaves a voice mail sometimes but not always.
It is a women's voice and is very threatening.

Caller ID showed 516-784-9844. A recorded voice told me that my automotive waranty was about to expire, press 1 to receive more info, press 2 to cancel my waranty. There was no answer when I called them back. I searched it online and many people are getting these calls from someone in New York. They are trying to get information about cars posing either as insurance company or a waranty company. I did not respond to their attempt, but they are misrepresenting themselves to commit some type of fraud.
