Hey Anonymous - LOL

The problem is that the recruiters are not up front with the people they are calling.
It's not an interview if a sales pitch is being made to thirty other people in the room.

Do your homework people...google GOD and see how many bad things are said about that subject. Been with Primerica for 10 years and they have paid me over $800k to date. Scam or no scam, making that kind of money helping families is the proverbial win-win.

The people on this post must be angry at the things that happened to them in their life. I was contacted as well about an opportunity. I sat with them and enjoyed the interview and their business model. Most of us looking for jobs are angry because we keep getting hired and fired in an endless cycle of BS. The Primerica opportunity isn't for everyone, but they were upfront and direct with me. If you are looking for a business opportunity, this is the best one out on the market. Scams and pyramids schemes are illegal and everyone that keeps referring to Primerica as such are ignorant. If your not "excited" about running your own business, don't ruin it for everyone else. All signs point to Primerica being a huge success. I look forward to being part of the business in the near future.

A guy named Jason called me. He told me he is a recruiter and looking for people just like me, "leaders", This guy does not even know me, but just called me a "leader". He was very pushy to setup an appointment for an interview in a few hours. I told him I was busy and we scheduled for Saturday, then I started going through all my "sent" emails to check this company to make sure this email is real and not a scam. Well, I did not find anything on my "sent" emails, and started researching over the internet, and I found several complaints about this number, these people, and this company. They are a total rip off. People be aware of this people. They just look for you to get your money and rip you off. They are located in 77 Arkay Drive Suite K, Hauppauge, NY 11788, and their website : http://www.teamrtime.com/

BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM

Went to the interview as they called it. They asked me what I liked the most about the company after the speech. But before that I google Alex roussis and nothing came on . He said in his speech that he is very rich because of this business but if he was he would have his name at least in Wikipedia or any blog, but nothing . Once I was One on one with him he asked me to pay 135$ for my licenses.  I said I would email him. Obviously I'm not doing so...  One of his recruits asked if I liked what I heard on my way to my car.. I said yes and asked him how was he doing financially ... He said he was doing very well after six months and that he just bought a brand new car .. Then I asked him what kind of licenses would I get and his answer was kind of shady .. Did not trust them

Not only did I get  unwanted calls from Ms. & Mr. Lee, they have been calling and harrassing me and now even posted a complaint on spokeo that I've called them.  I have never asked these people for a job and is aware that they are a pyramid scam.  I asked them to stop calling me and they have refused, they started calling me at odd times of day and continue to send faxes to me at work.  At this point, I plan to contact an attorney.  I will also contact the BBB.

Constantly getting calls and emails from this company and Primerica with the same spiel, saying they got my resume off of Monster. As many times as I tell them to remove my name and number from their list, I still get calls, from different numbers and different people. Now the new one is a call from a secretary Linda Springer saying the owner of the company wants to talk to me. I am so sick of this crap and their calls. The people that I know that are out of work are also getting bombarded with calls from this company also

I received a call from Roussis International offering a "wonderful job opportinity" where they will fast-track me to management.  I immediately thought it sound fishy so I started asking him some questions and he kept sidestepping answering.  He kept going on and on about how fast-growing the company is and all the companies they are licensed by. I've heard this song and dance before, I was duped into working for a subsidiary of Cydcor (LPG Inc) here in Charlotte for about a week selling Quill Office Supplies.  I am smarter now and smell that scam from miles away.  Any "job opportunity" that sounds too good to be true is.  Though Primerica may be legit, Roussis Internationl is a scam, just a door-to-door commission only pyramid scheme like Cydcor is for Quill Office Supplies.  Stay far away!

But it is a scam. The proof is in the pudding. They lure you in with "managerial opportunity" instead of "becomes a salesman working on commission" because otherwise they would get no takers. Don't fool yourself, this is not financial services. I am in financial services. You are just a parrot salesman who would be selling newspaper subscriptions, or cars, or this because you have no other prospects. And do not equate this with handing out hundred dollars bills no strings attached. You are asking people to give you hundred dollars bills (multiple, might I add), and in exchange you give them "training."

You are scum who lies to itself about what it does. A parasite, plain and simple. And even sadder, you do not understand what it is you do. You just parrot whatever you are told to parrot to sell "products" you don't understand yourself.

I call bull. You sound like another low-level salesman protecting his corporate sugar daddy. I love the fake "my father was a client for ages and so am I"...please tell us how your children will be too and how this will be a family tradition...because Roussis...they're like family to you. Right? Salespeople, seriously, the worst most desperate scum on the planet. I had one of these losers call me, except that he was trying to sell me on attending a conference (and paying for it, of course). Losers.

Ok...regulated by the SEC. I think we are all painfully aware that the SEC can't regulate anything. Being a lawyer on Wall Street I can tell you that there is no such thing as regulation and the SEC does not pay attention to small fry scams run by off-the-beaten path people located in obscure places. They are much too busy trying to get bigger game now that they have been made to look bad. That's why clowns like you and your company can safely fly under the radar.

That A+ is given by a company that gets its revenues from the companies that it rates. What do you think they are going to rate them? Absurd. Comparing it to a consumer bureau is intentionally misleading, which leads me to believe that you are a sales agent or principal of this sales scam firm.

Maintains a positive rating with the better business bureau. Really? So does every other business until it doesn't. And even then, you can pay to regain your positive rating after screwing up. This credential means nothing.

Also, the stock was up 50% based on its IPO valuation, and as you have seen, LinkedIn soard more than 100% when it went public based on its valuation. That means very little. It takes time for a stock to settle and guess what...Primerica is down from its IPO day closing price.  Also, you talk about Primerica, not about Roussis, which is what this is about. Roussis is basically a subsidiary sales agent of Primerica, which is itself a sales agent for the banks that it channels funds to.

Warburg Pincus...you mean the fifth-rate investment bank that had to be bought up and merged with other banks multiple times because it was facing liquidation? Awesome. Real winner.

Citigroup invested in it. Have you seen Citi's stock? The massive writedowns and legal suits it faces? That is like saying, "Endorsed by R. Kelly."

Jim Cramer endorsed it. Jim Cramer endorses everything and he's wrong half the time. He is also right half the time. He also got shown up on Jon Stewart (which I am sure you watch, salesman) for blatantly lying about inside trading and he got caught on camera.

Being covered by publications means nothing. Especially when you are referencing a 1 liner or one paragraph filler article on page A-3000000000 which no one reads. Bernie Madoff was covered by WSJ and there's this scam artist Jon Lebed that boasts on his website that he was on the cover of the NYT Magazine. What he doesn't say is that he is on the cover for scamming suckers. A little truth in advertising, my slippery salesman friend.

I like the bit at the end where you say their advice blah blah blah hundreds of thousands of dollars...what you are really saying is with that statement is "come buy Roussis/Primerica crap...look how much money they made me? Imagine what they could do for you."

Enjoy watching Glengarry Glenross as you eat your ramen noodles, salesman.

Hahaha, this post is surely from Alex Roussis or one of his family members. It was a sales pitch. All these bottom-feeding salesmen are the same. They call their scams "opportunities" and it is amusing that these "opportunities" require the sucker client to put up the money, do all the work (excuse me, they probably "train" with a "customized" program, hahaha) and take all the risk while Roussis just sits back and collects. They always say "excited" as in "I'm excited because this is such a great opportunity for you! And such a great product!" and "Do you want to spend money to make money."

I have looked these guys up, and you can order their personal information on websites (just like you can do for everyone nowadays). They are low-level scam artists. I cannot believe they call themselves business leaders. Just like having to tell people you are famous, if you have to tell people you are a business leader...that means you aren't. You think Jamie Dimon goes around telling people that he is a business leader? Buffett goes around telling people that he will give you a great opportunity? No. If the opportunity was great you would keep it to yourself. If it's a scam you share it with others and ask for fees.

These guys are small time. Their website is www.teamrtime.com and you can see that after years of this crap they only have 100MM under management. In the business world, that is not even a zit. Further, the fact that they manage so little shows that the money they raise comes from individual people that are easier to scam (it's not so easy to scam, say, PIMCO, or CALPERS, who would laugh at these guys if they managed to even get on the phone with investment heads).

Save your money. If these clowns could make money they would not share it with anyone else. And as a rule of thumb, whenever someone asks you for money up front and they take a fee (which means they don't have skin in the game and they win whether you succeed or fail), it's a scam. If this were the 1850's, these jokers would be selling snake oil and cure-all from wagons as they went from town to town.

I had an interview at Roussis International recently. I went to look up some more information about the business and came across these postings.

I'm not sure what the disconnect is, but I found the guys and gals at Roussis International to be very pleasant. The lady at the front greeted me very nicely. I met with Steve and we had a great conversation.

I've been in leadership positions with several companies and as an entrepreneur run several business myself. I liked everything they had to say.

It seems like a great opportunity. I suppose not everyone is cut out for business. But it seems great for someone who likes the idea of getting involved with a brokerage and helping people in the community.

I wasn't there for the phone calls, so can't speak to that, but it doesn't seem like these people would be intentionally rude. It does seem like they are busy though and the phones are always ringing they probably speak to hundreds of people.

I can understand that. Building a business is never easy and not everyone will always like you. I've worked for some very large companies and when you're dealing with a high volume of people, sometimes being brisk or to the point on the phone can be mistaken for being rude.

Anyway, I liked what I saw and who I met and I just thought I should say that. If I had read this before I went to the interview I might not have gone, but then I would have missed out.

I'm scheduled to go back for a follow up interview and I look forward to it. I've been looking at a couple of different opportunities, some corporate jobs and some businesses...but as I get older and get more experience it seems this is more what I'm looking for.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I think it was great.

We're clients with Roussis International/Primerica. I've gone before to the weds 7:30 interview. I didn't see a problem with it. As I wrote previously I've worked in various HR capacities. Some companies just do interviews at certain times, because that's when the executives are free to do so. Doesn't that make sense?

We're not sure that this is the direction that we want to go right now, but they were very nice to me. The answered our questions and it helped us to understand more about the business.

I once read that if someone has a great experience they only tell 5 people, but if they feel they were wronged in some way they will tell 15 people. The more I read these postings I just think that some of the people who post up are just negative.

And I hate it when people throw around terms like Multi-Level Marketing and Pyramid, without actually knowing what they are saying. Get a dictionary!

What I found out is that many of the so-called "Reputable" companies are the ones that actually rip-off the community...just look at all the big financial companies getting into trouble today. Roussis International is one of the few companies out there actually working and helping in the community. Leave them alone. They are the good-guys.

I just got the same call from Steve Gomez.  Said he came across my resume.  I posted it on CareerBuilder for project management in the construction industry.  Asked me if I would be interested in "a management position in the personal finance industry."  It sounded like he was reading from a script!  When told him I couldn't make either of the 2 interview times he give me for this week, he said "good luck" and hung up on me!  After reading the posts on this blog, I'm glad he blew me off!!
