got a call from this number

Received 5 calls from this number  wanting  to give me  7500. I told them it was a scam and i hung up and they still called back trying to say it was not a scam. I tried calling the number back and just a beep and it hung up. Please don't fall for this scam.

After i told the other number to stop calling now this number as well as other number i have posted are blowing me up all day everyday and hang up after answer .....no messages dont know who or what they want .....is there anyway to block or stop this?????

I received a call from a lady named Gracie Berry at 530-559-1657.  She told me I was given a loan of $7,500 by the US Government and would not have to pay it back.  I just need to call this number 202-407-9059 with a loan ID number and talk to her supervisor.  Her supervisor would answer any questions I have.  I tried to call the 530-559-1657 back and got a Verizon message saying the number was no longer in service.  She then called me write back when I didn't call...I told her I wasn't interested.  She got angry and said why didn't you tell me this before.  I told her it was the government and that is too good to be true and that I had searched on the internet and it was a scam.  She hung up on me.

This number has been harassing me. For the past month. I know I don't know anyone in California. I looked the number on this site and found out it was a scam.FYI thank you for the help. I finally surrendered after 2 months of harrasment and answered the phone. The lady said I was 1 of 1700 US citizens to recieve 7500 dollars. She gave me some code which I didn't write down. She told me the money could be wired to my bank account or through Western Union. I told her if the US Gov. wished to send me money why don't they just send a check in the mail? She started to show an attitude. She chose not to respond to those statements. I requested that my number be taken off the calling list and again an attitude was shown. She said I had to call Washington D.C. and tell them to take my number off. The weird thing is she didn't give me the number to call to take my number off. What gave it away that it was a scam was the fact that if this was legitimate an 800 would be used or 877. Another point is the U.S. Gov. would most likely not use Western Union to send money. Also if this was real my request for my number to be taken off would have been well taken off. Finally, well maybe to an extent, an attitude wouldn't be shown and a sign of business etiquette would been shown. Again I thank the creators of this site and the people on this forum.

I got a call from this number 530-559-1657 on 02/27/13. It was a lady she first asked for me by name then goes on to say she is calling from the United States government lol. I had been selected to receive a grant for $30,000. She said the reason i was selected to receive this money was because i had not filed for any bankrup or had a criminal record because i was a good citizen lol. She then asked how I would like to receive the money. I asked her what the catch was then she hung up lol dont be fooled total scam. FIrst indication would be the government wanting to give you money haha try again

Received 8 calls now from this phone number during the past two days on my cell phone; they never leave a VM.  I have not responded or answered the calls; nor am I going to.  Eventually, they should quit calling, but it is annoying and harassment.

i got calls from this number too...more then 8...and when i called the #back.. i also got the verizon wireless recording. what is the deal with all these scam calls ...and some come after 9pm! annoying!

Received a call from this phone number on my cell phone; no one was there. I hung up right away.  If I get another call, I just won't answer it.

I've been getting calls like 10x a day from 530-559-1657 always someone with a Spanish accent or similar.  Sometimes it just hangs up, but this time it was a woman that said she was with the US government and I had been chosen to receive a grant that I don't have to payback for $7500 to pay bills, education, or something else. She said it was three ways to receive the money, into my account, through my debit card, or western union.  After they asked for my bank information, I told her I wanted it through western union. She then give me an address and asked me to confirm if it was right or not. Then she gave me a confirmation code and the number to her manager 202-436-9770. She told me to go to western union and call her manager if I have problems. She asked me to repeat the information she gave me to make sure I had it correct.  When I didn't, she told me to call her manager when I was ready to confirm. I then said I was no longer interested and to remove me from your list and stop calling me.  She said "f*** you" and hung up on me.

I have received 3-4 calls from this number for the last three days and they haven't left a number.  I am on the do not call list, so not sure why they think it's okay to call..

I got the same call for the same information. I am familiar with scames so the first thing I said was if this was joke, then "click" hung up. Did the resurch and found the same results.

I recieved numerous phone calls from 530-559-1657 within two days. I finally answered today (2/20/13) He asked for my name and replied this is she. He told me he was calling from the us government, and I have been selected for a 7,500 dollar grant because I have not filed for bankrupt in the past 6 months, my credits are paid on time. he was a foreign guy so I let him get through his "pitch", and he asked "you are probably thinking "why yoy? right?" and I replied "yes." He continued you say The money is yours I just need to verifiy I few things about you. I then said "I'm very sorry to interupt you, but I'm just really not interested at this time". He replied "F**K YOU!!" and hung up. I tried to call back and get his name, a manager, something. Recieved a message stating verizon wireless number has been changed, disconnected, so on. Please find this person, he calls until you pick up and then when you dont give your money he lashes back.

This person his cal me for3 time I finally answer and I repetatly ask his name after I ask four time they finally hang up!

This number calls 5 or 6 times everyday saying that I won a grant, I have asked they quit calling and the foreign sounding man on the other line, says "I will call back", and I say no don't. Then an hour later they will call back, I am tired of it!!!

The same just happen to me. I didnt give no credit card infor, but she knew my name and address..i thought it was a joke..so not real

I just got the same call today, i thought it was b***s***..i said is this a joke and she said no.but i would get the money tomorrow by western union.75000 ..i knew something was off. I didnt give no credit card infor. But they knew my name and address..not real

DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS ANY PERSONAL INFO!!!! All they want is your 280$ and personal info....they called this morning @7:15 am which is illegal in itself!!!!

These guys are such idiots they continually call the detective's phone line repeatedly. When told they are calling the wrong number and to be removed from the dialer, they get into an argument with you. What a group of idiot scam artists. When asked to speak to a supervisor, they hang up. Had a detective get cussed out and told to stop lying, lol. Annoying!

Someone keeps calling me and when I pick up no one amswers. When I call.back the operator says that.the number has been disconected

Called me today said I had a grant for 7500 I could pick it up at western union. Didnt hear anything about a fee, but assume it is because I couldn't understand a thing the lady was saying.    SCAM

Calls my cell all through the day and never says anything when I answer. I called them back it says the number is no longer in service or has been disconnected.

Kept getting numerous calls daily from 5035591657 in which I have never answered because I don't waste my time like that.

i got the same call and he said f*** you then hung up i called back to get the addresss to report them and he started cussing me out and said f*** you bi*** u aint sending me any money

I just got a call from these jokers about 2 mins ago.  Indian dude said he was with the Federal Grants Department through California and that I qualifed for $7000 in free grants.  I told him to "suck an egg as I work for the federal government, I know it's a scam, and I'm reporting this number."

Received a call at 6 in the morning today and I did not pick up as well as I got a call a couple of weeks ago very early and did not pick up never leaves a message and when I call back it's a discounted #.  Which only means it's a scam.

i think its a scam,,, seems coming from india,,, they just call me, i have to deny who i am, and i say can i get the mssg,, she said she will call back. 5305591657 this is the number.

Oh I just blocked this number.  Now let's see what they are going to do now.

I keep getting calls from 5305591657.  They must have called 3 or 4 today already.  They don't leave a message.  They are getting on my freaking last nerve.  I am fixing to block them.
