Called me the past 5 days. I answered today and pressed 1 to talk to a live person. His name is Eric, company is Security Promotions. He hung up as I asked to be taken off their calling list.

They call at least once every day if not more. And when u call the number back it just beeps and when u tell them not to call or you are on the national do not call list they hang up on u. And Its always the same lady that answers the phone.

If we really want to stop them. Talk to them as long as you can. Keep asking questions. Tie them up as long as you can. It will keep them from calling anyone else. Get enough people to do this and we can tie up all there lines. Maye then they will quit calling us. They have no regard for the DO NOT CALL list cause they nothing will happen to them. What was a great idea is not enforced at all

I have a playlist titled 'music for scammers' - it's a collection of sounds that, while not obscene, is very annoying. Whenever I get a call from one of these lovely people I share my gift. Loudly.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.
It is best to not even answer any call from an unrecognized number. If it is important, someone will leave a message or call back.
The simple fact that you answered the call lets the sender know that it is a valid number and they sell it. They do not even have to be selling a valid product. If you press any key, then they know it is a valid number and if you say anything, especially if it is offensive, then you guarantee that your number will be sold.
About 5 months ago, I stopped answering calls from unknown numbers and I have seen a distinct decrease in all calls even valid commercial ones. I used to receive about 2 - 3 calls a day and now it is down to about 1 a week.
Records are being kept that increase the validity of your number being active based on the number of times you have answered these phishing calls. Those numbers with the highest connect rate net the most profit for the phishers and are highly prized for the commercial industry.
To stop the calls, DON'T ANSWER THEM!

They keep calling. I've indicated I do not want them to call me back. They persist.

I just purchased a security system online (through Amazon) and have been receiving random calls from this number (541) 981-4121 AND (417) 800-2538. I suspect they must got access (privacy issue???) to this information and are contacting me non-stop. I have yet to pick up.

I got a call from them last week out of Wyoming. They too said they didn't know about the do not call list. Since they change their phone number, I am not sure we can ever stop them!

Jeanette answered the phone, called his company "Secure America" trying to sell a "free" home security scam. He told me he didn't know about any "damn federal do not call list." Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Number comes up as "Albany OR" on call ID

Yes, they are a bunch of SCUMBAGS! I mess with them as much as possible before they hang up on me.

I guess I'm the first to report that the Sc*mbag SCAMMING security thieves are using this phone number to send out their Robocalls.
