Got a call from Valerie Harper at this number. Said she is fighting Cancer and misses dancing. Came here and ... wow. Looks like she has been doing this for several years.

Received a call from Ann over the weekend.  Left 773-572-3193 as the call back number, a Chicago area number.  I called the number and was connected with a lengthy voice mail message that sounded scripted.  The message indicated it was best to reach her after 7:00 or 8:00 in the evening and asked that I call from a home or cell phone number at that time if I was able.  I called and left a message indicating she would need to call during our office hours.  Two days later, she did call back, and I assumed that I was speaking with the same Ann who had called over the weekend.  I work for a support program for individuals with learning differences and autism spectrum disorders.  She asked that I forward a packet of information to her.  The address she provided was one in Fresno, California and I began to doubt it was the same person.  I did not take, as I usually do, her telephone number when I spoke with her because I assumed it was the same Ann.  To properly facilitate follow up by admissions staff, I Googled Ann Thayer Fresno CA and came across these postings.

It may be that this individual is on the autism spectrum and, hence, the scripted voice mail message.  Those on the spectrum are not comfortable engaging in social situations and very frequently struggle with executive functioning issues.  She might struggle to prepare a voice mail message without a script and feel uncomfortable talking with people and might, therefore, choose to place her calls after hours.  It may well be that this is a crank or prank call, but it may also be an individual diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder like Asperger's.  She indicated she was looking for a program for her daughter.  We find it not uncommon for a student to have family members also diagnosed with autism.  Her daughter is between the ages of 18 and 26, so she may have realized the school in New England was not appropriate for her.  This may be a legitimate call from an individual who is struggling with autism, so don't immediately discount her call and label it a prank.

Got a call over the weekend (same M.O.--calls when no one is on the phones), leaves an 'urgent' message (said her name was Valerie Thayer/Fayer), left 773-572-3193 as the call back number.  She's been doing this for years, with different aliases.  I always recognize her voice.  I think that the poor girl has some serious issues........but I won't be calling her back.  She got a new phone number, too---she used to call us on the 5592480414 number.  Same voice, same deal.  Ignore.  I wonder if she googles her phone number to see if her calls get reported?

I got a message from "Hannah" and was told to call 773-572-3193.  She'd marked it "urgent" and "private" on our phone system. I did not call back.  She left the message at 7:47 pm, which means she's intentionally calling when she know someone won't be there.  What's the point in that?  It makes me wonder if you call the number back maybe it automatically captures some sort of information in whatever scam they are doing since it appears from others' notes here that you don't reach a live person if you do call it back.  I think this is called "phishing," isn't it?  Wonder why churches and schools are the target?

She has called our church numerous times.  She always calls after hours.  Usually leaves long messages - reading from a book or recipe.  Her number is always blocked.  Once or twice, she has left this as a call-back number.  A few days ago, things changed a bit.  She called after hours - same voice - still blocked her number - but gave a new call-back number:   773-572-3193.

Andrea Zuckerman is a character on the show 90210.  She called our church in the middle of the night and left a message to call her back giving yet another name.

This person left urgent voice mails for my co-worker and I at our workplace, an elementary school.  She called herself "Ann Sayer" and asked us to call her back on her cell phone.  My co-worker did, and the caller hung up on her.  We are located in New England, and in searching the web, I've learned that this person is from Fresno, CA and has been making prank calls in northern California and Washington state.  See http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-559-248-0414 to see what other people have noted about her.

I work in a school and received an urgent message from "Anne Thayer" and to call back. I also found out that one of my co-workers also had received the same call. This person needs to have some consequence for her actions, especially when calling a school and leaving a message like that!

I received an urgent voice mail from a person identifying herself as "Ann Sayer." She called my work number and extension, which I give out only to people who need to have it.  The strange part is that I work in a school in New England, so I have no idea why I would be receiving a phone call from her.  Like other people have reported, she sounded young, maybe mid-20s, and she didn't identify herself as belonging to a particular company or organization.  She called at some point between Friday night and early Monday morning.

Had a message from after work hours on Friday from an "Ann Thayer." Googled number since it was unfamiliar. Glad to know this info! We're a church in the SF Bay area.

I got a message from Ann Fayer also. I did call back as well. I left a message for her to call me back. Now that I have found this I will pray for her. We are also in Northern CA. Her # is a Fresno #. I noticed her voicemail being very scripted also.

An Anne Thayer (Fayer?) called our church and left a message on my voicemail extension number on 5/29/10 at 1:24 am. She said the was leaving a message for...and then took a long pause as if she was searching for a name, and then said my name. She asked me to call her back as soon as I could. Silly me didn't think there was anything going on. Called the number back, rang several times, and went to her voicemail. Voicemail message was very scripted. Our church is located in Northern CA.

Amazing..I really feel sorry for her. She called our church about 12:30 this morning and left urgent message. When I called the number it was her voice with a very long message. Yep like she was reading something. I to called back and block out # and could not get through. She said her name was Ann Fayer. Not sure who that is but I think she really needs prayer. I hope she know using other names could get her in a lot of trouble....

We got the same thing....left a voicemail around 7am stating that her name was Ann and that she wanted me to call her back.  She left this number and said that it was her cell phone.  She sounded very young and I could hear some background noise as well.  Needless to say, I'm not returning the call.

Same here. Called my Church in Portland, Oregon referring to herself as "Donna Martin," wanting to know about Sr High Teen Activities. She said she couldn't answer her phone until after 6 PM. Pastors, enjoy your time with you families on your off hours and don't waste your time calling this number back. It's a scam.

Update---I decided to set my phone to block my caller ID and I called this number back---guess what?  "This phone does not accept calls from numbers that are blocked."   I think this is hilarious and clearly shows that Adrianna-Valeria-Kelly-Andrea isn't serious about anything except being a problem child.  I'll pray for her and won't ever return the call with my caller ID on!

Called the church in WA where I work and left a message asking about youth events. Used the name Adrianna Duncan. Said she could not answer her phone during the day and asked me to call her back and leave a voicemail with my cell number. Very weird, not caling her back. Sounded young and lots of background noise.

She's baaaaaaaacccckkkk!  Same number, this time she's Valerie Malone.  Poor thing.  She is either terribly lonely, or a bit of a nut case.  I won't be calling her back and will alert my staff to this info.

Same exact story here.  We have only received one call though.  I'm going to alert our other staff so they know not to take this person seriously.

She's called my church under ALL of these names. I didn't realize that they are 90210 names! Same story here...calls when nobody will be here...leaves LONG messages sometimes reading from books, sometimes reading recipes. Most recently, she's called wanting to know about youth activities. She says she probably won't be available when I call back, so I should leave a cell phone or home phone number. I definitely WON'T be doing that. Thanks for helping me know I'm not alone. I'll keep Kelly, Valerie, and Andrea in my prayers, but is there some way we can stop her?

I am a pastor of a Church in Anchorage, Alaska and 'Valerie McCall' called here as well wanting me to call back.  It seemed curious so I googled and realized I am not alone.  The poor thing must be terribly lonely or troubled.

YES! Finally got her number when she asked the pastor to call her and said her name was Valerie McCall. I recognized the voice of the middle of the night voice messenger that reads scripture and recipes.  She must have TONS of time on her hands.  She gets around. I'm in Longview WA. Lutheran Church.

Yep, this time she called and said her name was "Valerie McCall" and wanted the pastor to call her back.  She has been reading scriptures and leaving recipes on our voice mail for months as well.  Wow, glad I looked here too.

Yes, she phones our church office in the wee hours of the morning, reading a book or a recipe.  Today's message was from Andrea Zuckerman & wants the pastor to phone her.

Got a message from this number from "Brenda Walsh" (also a 90210 character). Asked for the pastor to call back. I googled out of curiosity and found this page. I will say a prayer and delete the message.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one getting these calls.  They have been going on for months now.  

Here is my order for dealing with the call.

1. Recognize the voice
2. Delete the message. (I do not even waste my time.)
3. Pray that God will interrupt her games and save her soul.  (Join me in praying for her.)
4. Move on with the day.

I only looked up the number because she (Andrea Zuckerman) left a number asking about youth activities.

Called as Andrea Zuckerman asking about youth events in our church.  Normally calls and reads scripture or recipes.  Caught my attention because Andrea Zuckerman is a character on the old Beverly Hills 90210 show!

She called our church as well. Said her name was Kelly and wanted to know about youth events. Gave this as her cell.
