I was also contacted by a so called DEA Agent Steve Jones and Agent Javier Pena from phone #559-838-0300 with a very stong hispanic accent, could hardly understand him, he said that he had a warrant for my arres for buying illegal drugs online.  If i did not cooperate that he would send police out to pick me up, I would be sent to the Dominican Republic and that i could serve up to 20 yrs in prison.  If i didn't wire $4500 to the Prosecutor Jose Miguel Cabral and US Officer Yamilet Familia Rosario in the Dominican Republic that I would be sent to the Dominican Republic for trial.  Then he told me that I had to pay taxes for the so called illegal drugs of $2500.  If i refused to pay that he would contact the IRS and report me.  He also informd me if I was to get a lawyer, that i better get a lawyer that handles the US and the Dominican Republic.  I contacted the real DEA, he told me that this is not the way the DEA works.  He said if anyone shows up to my home to call 911.  I called our local police and filed a fraud report..

Claimed he was a DEA agent, Officer Pena.  Total scam artist.  Heavy Hispanic accent. I offered to meet at a police station or a courthouse right away to see his reaction.  Just as I expected, he cowered.

Have never bought anything illegal from internet........ Have been getting these calls for the last year. There is a DEA fraud no. to call and report them but it is just a recording. Have talked to several actual DEA agents and it is a big scam. They get info from credit card use. Makes me sick for the people who are scared to death (especially the elderly). All they want is money..... Purchasing drugs from the internet is illegal due to the Ryan-Haight Act signed into law by Bush on October 15, 2008. Some kid Ryan Haight bought Vicodin on the internet prescribed by an MD who had not even seen him Dr. Robert Ogle and delivered to him at his home by an internet pharmacist Clayton Fuchs of Main Street Pharmacy with his parents credit card. If you can access it is on an episode from HBO called Online Nightmares HBO-14 series called Addiction. Would look up and post the fraud number but after calling them 15 million times nothing is done. If the DEA is coming to your house they will not call you. Duh!

Last week I got a call from this person and ignored it.  Yesterday I was home and got a call from some woman calling herself Lt. Lynn Taylor and people were in my area to arrest me for buying diet pills online 5 yrs. ago.  I was scared to death until she got to the punch line that she could keep them from arresting me if I paid a down payment on my fine over the phone.  My daughter got on the phone and starting ranting at her and she hung up.  Then today the Agent Anthony Williams called again and left a message.  The woman probably told him how scared I seemed and they thought they had a live one!  So glad we can check these numbers online and find out about these scams!

The world we live in has much to be distressed over, and this is one of those times!!!! What kind of thrill would a person get out of making innocent citizens panic, even if for a moment!!! He will stand accountable for all those he has harassed and those (few) I hope ,he has"conned" and stolen their money!!!!   This is proof that any activity of online purchases are "risky!!". Everyone reading this,, be careful and may God bless each of you!

I too got the same really rude message, I hung up on him & then checked out the scam sites, didnt take long to find him. I am FURIOUS, an elderly or unsure person could easily get strung along with this. I phoned him back told him what I thought of him & the FBI would be paying him a visit, he doesnt answer my phone calls now, goes straight to voice mail. I hope he gets taken care of as this has been going on for too long.

Ha!  Funny!  Because the closest I've come to purchasing any drugs off the internet is GNC.  So, give me another excuse as to why I'm being contacted by a DEA scammer!.  I would love to get a hold of one of those scamming idiots and zap them right in the mouth with a stun gun, holding it  there for several minutes either until he/she stops twitching or until I'm completely titillatingly satisfied.

I got a call from this "Mark Thomas" also - Same scam different name!.  He also told me he was a DEA agent and he almost got me until I got to a computer, and also called my local DEA.  The agent from the REAL DEA said, and I quote, "Tell the guy to go to hell" he also said not to worry about it.  You might want to check out a guy on You Tube who has a recording of this guy.  It's the same guy, I recognize his voice - No doubt about it.  Google "SCAM DEA Part 1"

Thanks goes out to this guy who posted this on You Tube!!!  IRISHBUDDAFILTH I really appreciate you going to the trouble to record this.

Got a call today from a different number with same scenario.  His new name is SGT Mark Aruso, Agent with the DEA, hispanic accent.  Warrant for my arrest for ordering online prescription drugs without a doctors examination......oh yeah, the agents are on their way right now to arrest me.  And I'm going to spend a few days in jail while I think about what I did.....what was it again?  They have changed numbers though.....new number is 949-800-7449.  And by the way, in case SGT Mark is reading this, you will have FBI and DEA agents knocking on your door soon because my boyfriend is a Special Tactical Ops Operator and he has all your info and not only has your call been traced via GPS but your location as well. So, agents are on the way to your house right now, they know who you really are and where you are operating from.  Did you know that impersonating a federal DEA agent is a felony?  Well, you can spend a few days in jail thinking about that while you try to come up with the 250,000 dollars bail. Have a nice day......you messed with the wrong girl idiot.

Received call form DEA Officer

Someone called and said they were sending police officers out to the house to arrest me with a
Federal Warrent.  I could avoid arrest if I sent them $12,000.00 by Western Union within 45 minutes. Told me I had broken the law and would be put in prison. On and on he went and scared me to death.
I was able to get off the phone  by telling him I was going to find a Western Union and would call him back when I got there. He told me to send the money to Melvin Nateo US currency to the Dem Republic. These people should be stopped this is just wrong.

Someone with this number left a message about being a special agent with the DEA. I didn't return his call. Sooo, they're still in business as of 1/24/2012.

Reading the previous posts, I was tickled by the threat that agents were on their way. Since when do police announce an arrest in advance? Also the Rod Blagojevich case here in Chicago was a reminder to never conduct shake-downs over the telephone.

This guy has called me three times. Twice yesterday and today once. He stated he was Special Agent Anthony Williams and even gave me his badge number.  Scared the crap out of me accused me of buying drugs online without scripts and said agents were on way to take me to jail.  WHO DO YOU CALL TO GET THIS CRAP STOPPED . I called police here and tried to get ahold of FBI but no luck so far.

hmmm....I was almost that naive person....this scared the crap out of me.
Anthony D. Williams is a black man (he is pictured on the DEA website for the Fresno area)...probably doesn't have the slightest accent, whereas this guy has what sounds like a slight latin accent....basically tried to extort 1800 dollars from me. These guys are good though...they sound what you would imagine law enforcement to sound like, and they were asking me to fax certain information as well (so that the alleged charges could be dropped, or something to that affect).
The sad part is that they must be successful with this scam, otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it.

I just received a phone call from these people "claiming" to be the DEA this morning.  I called "DEA Agent Anthony Williams" back at the number left on my voicemail.  The same person that left the message this morning answered the phone (pretending to be a receptionist) and when I asked for "Anthony Williams" he acted as if he placed me on hold to xfer me, and simply pressed 4 numbers on the dialpad, put his hand over the phone, then came back on the phone identifying himself as "Anthony Williams", the person that left the voicemail for me.  After telling him my name, he indicated to me I have 2 federal warrants for my arrest for purchasing prescription drugs over the internet!!!  Now, I have never been to a doctor to be prescribed pain killers, let alone gone online to find them for sale illegally!!

I asked numerous questions to this "Anthony Williams" such as: What was the website these prescription drugs were purchased from?  What bank was used to purchase the prescription drugs?  When were they purchased?  What was the last 4 of the ssn of the person that purchased the drugs online?  What was the last 4 of the card# used to purchase the drugs online?  Anthony Williams could not answer any of these questions and fumbled over excuses for not giving me the information.  All he could do is keep asking for the spelling of my name and tell me the address the drugs were purchased from, which any one company or person could obtain by purchasing the information, like a telemarketing company would.  When asked how he got my phone number, again, he asked for the spelling of my name and then just referenced the warrants for my arrest.  I never let it get to a point of asking "well what do we do now" because of how upset I was over the claims/charges.

Eventually, he asked to place me hold which I agreed to, and the call was disconnected from his end.  Even being 100% innocent of these charges, I still had some doubts about these charges, wondering if someone had used my address in the past to do this, or if someone that is currently renting my home where these drugs were set to ship, used my information.  Now, reading this information below puts me at ease, knowing its some a**hole scam for something I could care less about.

They're calling YOU from a list of  people who purchase ILLEGAL prescriptions... LOL Probably for a good reason, but you're definitely a "regular" purchaser. A scam just the same, it was published again today local paper.

The recent change in their threat is instead of them (being the DEA) arresting you for purchasing illegal drugs.... they have changed the threat to include PUBLISHING YOUR NAME and WHAT YOU ORDERED ONLINE in your Local Newspaper. There has only been 2 incidents of this actually happening in the state of California.

I love the internet. Thanks for posting these bogus numbers.  Got one from this number, I just played the DEA message on my machine when I got home from work.  They are after my husband!! (ha) Can't wait for him to get home.  Think I'll have my very funny teen boy call back & have some fun with this jerk.  I just pray this doesn't happen to an elderly/naive person. It would scare the hell out of my in-laws (in their 80's).
