Hey Bozo.  These people are paying their bills.  I am a physician who received a call from these morons today.  I called back to another moron laughing and when i asked what was so funny he said that someone in the office had just done something comical.  Yes, very professional law office.  I gave them my phone number and they stated they were trying to get a hold of someone :that I actually knew".  I told them that I hadn't dated this particular person or seen them in 10 years and am now married.  They told me they would take me off their ph list.  What list.  A scam list.  I will be contacting the Florida Bar as well as the Florida attorney generals office in the morning to report these a***oles.  If you look them up on BBB, they have an F rating and several scams surrounding them, so in shirt.  It is not that people are not paying their bills, it's that these liars....oops "lawyers" ought to be dis-barred and sent to jail for fraud.

I keep getting the same call and they want personal information. When I tell them I will not be giving them my name they hang up on me. How do I stop this harrassment?

Seriously.....if anyone on this post has reason to be concerned about what they're teaching their children, I'm pretty sure it's you.  Please go spout your self-absorbed, arrogant, misguided, judgmental, pomposity on some other web site.  I'm pretty sure no one here is interested in anything you have to say.  Resorting to calling people you don't even know ugly, nasty names?  By the way, your grammar and spelling is absolutely atrocious so I'm pretty sure it's people like you who are contributing to the downfall of the American worker and the reason why countries like Japan have overtaken our economy.  Please spend your time working on yourself rather than trolling the net to find people to zing with your nasty, mean-spirited, misspelled and misspoken comments.

Someone named David Zimmerman from Greg Adams and Associates keeps calling my 11 year old daughters number with threatening messages about law suits. When I call the office to let them know not to, I was berrated by some inarticulate dude who threatened me! Put these people out of business!

Today I got a voicemail message from this Zimmerman guy saying the same shpeel...there's a case on my SSN, I have become "a person of interest" and if I don't call back a judgment will be made in my absence, thank you and "cover yourself accordingly" (WTF?). By googling his name and Greg Adams I was led here.  Good thing I always check online when I get fishy messages.  This time Zimmerman is using 954-345-4741 (and yes he stumbled over the numbers).  Too bad we can't sue them and give them a taste of their own medicine.  They shouldn't be allowed to bully regular folks by phone and get away with it.

I received a call from the same group yesterday saying they were David Zimmerman from Greg Adams and Associates.  the phone number that called me was 9543454741, although they stumbled and started to say a different #.  

When I called the number back it was an answering machine saying it was outside of business hours and to leave a message.

I received the same message from the same person using the same phone number as CoyotesFan.  This is definitely a SCAM and if you give them your info they will eventually offer you a deal of paying about 60 % of the original debt.  I know because i was contacted by Marauder Corp, Indian Wells, Calif. in 2011 by one of their subtier units.  They did call for specfic name (not mine) and they had a SS# which was mine and claimed i had a debt in Calif. from a title company. I had NEVER lived in Calif and had NEVER taken a small loan for a title company anywhere. I talked to lawyers, assist. attorney generals, sheriffs, etc. and there was nothing they would do because it is not high on their priority list.  I was told to send a letter (if you let it get that far) stating that this is a fraudulent claim and you would contact the Federal Trade Commission about there tactics.  Why the FTC --- because they regulate what collection agencies can and cannot do.  The contacts stopped for about 6 months then Halsted Financial Services, Evanston, IL 60201 sent me an "urgent letter".  It finally stopped when their "legal dept" contact me.  I told them i was not the person they were trying to contact, I do not know him, and do not know who is and  I will contact the FTC if any further contacts were made.  It stopped untill now.  So here i go again.  Like CoyoteFan, i may have some fun with them by recording their calls and then forwardng them to the FTC.

Total Scam. I called them 3 times in a row. They cracked on the 3rd time. They are definitely American though, they had the drawl.

Looks like the last post here was in June. I just got a message, same as the above posts. David Zimmerman for Greg Adams & Associates from 954-345-4741. "Conduct yourself accordingly" as well.
I'll call back just to play with them.

seriously a family full of lawyers but you cant seem to pay your bills its funnie how everone knows a lawyer or the att general police offices and soo forth but cant be an adult and handle there issues.... funnie how the world work ppl lend you money you never pay it back then when the company files for a judgement its everyone else fault but yours.... be realistic how would you feel if i loaned you some money then 6 yrs later had every excuse as to why i shouldnt have to pay it back.....i just laugh at the p.o.s on this 800 notes you guys are the reason as to why the economy is the way it is..... be an adult and pay your bills... like everyone else... i realy hope your not raising your children with the same mentality that you guys have cuz if sooo i definitly feel sorry for our children of the future

I recieved the same message today, loved the threats that made no sense. However, the number was 305-529-0880. When you look up the number it comes up as a mobile phone out of Florida. Thank you for the post!

This same message was recieved after i changed all my passwords as a result of my email being hacked. they somehow got my number which was used as a second verification for account changes. CHANGE ALL YOUR ACCOUNT PASSWORDS AND SECURITY SETTINGS!!!! they are using your info. I would also suggest you dont call the number back or give them any information BEWARE

My wife had a voice mail on her cell phone from David Zimmerman with the same crap about a debt tied to her SSN. He wanted a call back or would find in favor of his client. Same crap as above. I always google such calls and found many threads like this one. It sure is funny that if they have a persons SSN they do not have the name associated with it.

This Zimmerman clown called me today and I told him exactly what I thought of his scam. He tried to tell me the cops were coming to get me if I did not give him my SSN immediately. I promptly told him to F#@& O%% and hung up. Do folks really fall for this crap over a phone? Very sad!

Yep got the same message from Zimmerman last week, called back but nobody answered, then googled and found this. call back number was 9546884660.

My daughter got a message today stating the same informaton.  She assumed it was just what it is, but called me to make sure.  I googled his name and found y'all.   Thank god for internet and google. :)

Same from Zimmerman.  But received the call from 954 688 4660 and asked to call back at that number as well.

So I also have received several of these phone calls. The beginning phone calls were from a different person's name but these last two have been from a David Zimmerman on 4/22 at 11:45am of Greg Adams & Associates with allegations attached to SSN and to call 305-222-7826. I received another one on 7/2/12 at 7:25pm from Mr. Zimmerman of Gregory Adams & Associates stating this was his third attempt and I needed to contact him that day and to call 561-210-4826 but funny thing is it came in as a Florida Call with a number of 954-345-4786.  I also received a call from a Nancy Miller from BRS or DRS or IRS, couldn't understand since it was mumbled on same day as Zimmerman 7/2/12 talking about how sorry she was we have been missing each other  and tell you what why don't you call me at 800-807-4106. Now this one came in as a Toll Free call with a number of 800-851-9631.  What is with all the scamming calls?  This is why I don't answer my phone...  

I really appreciate your knowledge with all of this and it at least validates my thoughts about these being nothing but a scam.

I am also a victim of these a***oles!!!  I am a  mother of 3 and have never been accused of anything that would have a lawsuit placed against me.  These poeple have called my mother and grandmother who is 80, they had the woman thinking I was going to jail!!! I am so thank-ful for all the post, because everything is the same.  I'll go you one further, they didn't call my name on the message but named the veicle I was driving!!! How the Hell!!! David Zimmerman left a message saying if I don't call them back blah blah blah... They didn't say who they were looking for so I ignored it I figured it was a wrong number. A week later they called back and lefter another message with a more nasty tone something about charges atached to my ssn and if I didn't call back they would continue with charges in my county. Well out of curiousity I called back " *67 " . I asked what kind of scam this. He said I need to look them up on line. I said I was reading these comments as we speak so he hung up on me. I called back and talked to another guy I asked why they called and didn't say who they were looking for. I was told it was a computer generated call. Well I have gotten many wrong number calls on my other line and they always say who they are looking for even when it wasn't a real person leaving the message. He kept insisting that I give hin my personal information. Again he hung up on me? I called again and talked to a woman this time. I asked the same questions and got the same answers. All she wanted was my personal info. I told her that they should already have it. She said I was just helping their case by not cooperating and they can find out who I was even if I called private! I told her next time they call they need to say who they are looking for. If they knew who I was they would know where I lived! Even if they record the calls it can't help their so called " case " because they don't say who they are calling! They won't be calling me again because I blocked their number from my phone...

I have received several phone calls from different people all claiming that they are from this company.  They have even called my ex-husband who I have been divorced from for 18 years!  Now how in the hell would they get his number???  I told them that if they had any proof of my doing anything like writing bad checks to check n go they needed to send me proof.  They also said they had video survelience, yeah right!  They didn't even know the correct state that I was living in.  Next time they call, thanks to all these posts, guess what his answer is gonna be?  Can you say "shove it" and stop harrassing me or you will find a lawsuit????

this guy somehow got my work phone # to leave the same scammy message.  I am going to report it to my corporate communications dept and let them deal with this too.

I've gotten two calls from these people, one message was left by Melanie Steinberg with the "I have a cliam attached to your SSN" schtick followed by the "govern yourself accordingly" signoff. The second from David Zimmerman claiming this is his second time trying to call and if I don't call back by the end of business, he'll have to make decisions on my behalf without my knowledge.

Because you can totally do that without power of attorney, or knowing my name.

The incoming call number was 954 345 4786 but he left a callback number of 561 288 1193.

Just got a call from this scam artist who had the audacity to leave a voicemail under the name "David Zimmerman". He too said that he was with Greg Adams & Associates, however, he called from 954-345-4786. He claimed that this was his second attempt at contacting me regarding a claim that was in his office and that if I did not respond, he would then assume that I was trying to evade the matter and that he would proceed in favor of his client.
Today is June 4th and it appears he is trying his best to create fear based on false claims. Do not believe him as mentioned in previous complaints on this website. Thank you to Anon for posting your initial comments. I am glad that information like this is available from other consumers.

The second I heard the term "person of interest"  I laughed.  I agree with Anon. that is a term used by law enforcement..not law offices.
