I got a call from 561-291-6189 on June 2, 2014 at 10:55.  My caller ID said, "Out of area."  I answered and the caller knew my name and make of car.  When I asked why she was calling she said it was because the warranty had run out on my car.  She would not tell me the name of the company she worked for.  She said it was a division of something-or-other and I can't remember exactly what she said, but it didn't make sense.  I told her this number was on the Do Not Call list and she said she would put my number on the do not call list - I assume her company's do not call list, which they are required to do.  Also, I reported the call on donotcall.gov.

Just got a text saying "this herb worked for me!" With a picture attached.

HERE IS AN UPDATED LIST: I have been doing a little investigating on these numbers used for  "Thomas Home Protection" , "Tom at Home Protection Services" ,
 " Tom with Home Security Group" and "Home Protect". The  phone numbers are most likely from some unknown telemarketer(s), pranksters
or possibly scammers. Here are some of the numbers that I have found that seem to be connected with
Home security so far, there are probably many more. Though occasionally some of the numbers are also used for other purposes-lower morgtage, credit card, test drive
a car, computer virus removal and so on, they usually eventually tie back into the "Home Security" line using the same number. Many times they will have a call Identification of   "GRNSEC".    You can do what you want but I am not answering any numbers I do not recognize, especially these. "Tom" or whoever it is needs to be stopped, everyone is tired of his speed dial calling all day long.

As you can see these jerks have a wide variety of phone no. to choose from. This list may be just the tip of the iceberg.
I suggest putting a block on all of the numbers here if you are able to. And adding any numbers that come up in the future
from "Tom" onto this site asap.

There probably are other numbers. Who know who is really behind these calls. For all I know it could
be Homeland Security trying to snoop dog on everyone (just a thought). Most likely it is just some troublemakers.

I am getting calls on my cell phone from (978) 570-2446 wanting to sell a home security system, they keep calling even though I am not in the least bit interested. The complaints for this number goes on for many pages. I believe it may be connected somehow with the (561) 291-9266 number that is calling everyone here as well.

i received this call yesterday by this stupid number..it keeps on calling me. so i  got bothered and i googled it today,,and yes it was really a spam call!! i only realized that there are so many people whose also been victimized by this number..how the heck did they get my number!!??

I have received repeated calls from this number.  When I try to get the name of the company, they hang up.

I just got a robo call from 561-291-9266, telling me I could have a free alarm system if I put their sign in my yard.  Of course, there is probably a catch somewhere; if I want an alarm system I will look up someone reputable and ask about their service.  No need to break the law by calling people on the Do Not Call list.

Anyway, I pressed "1" to speak to their rep and gave them my standard, "Hey, Dan (Mike, Shawn, Charles, etc.) You are breaking the law and I'm going to report you." Then I hang up and go to WhoCallsMe and the Federal reporting system, in that order.

I am on the do not call list, and have replied by text.

I can complain...this number calls me constantly, I don't want their dag on alarm system if thats even the case and I won't answer the phone for them.  Fred & Richard, you probably work for these people or are these people.  What a sham and what a nuissance for people who have done what they can to keep these places from calling and yet they still call.  Making a complaint on the do not call registry yet again on this number.  Can't find out any kind of information on this number either.

Even if you are not on the no call list, if it is a recorded message when you answer (which this is) you can and should report the number to the National No Call list.

Got call on cell phone at 2:14.  No message.  Phone is on DNC list.  When I tried to call back, call could not be completed.

I am just lucky I once again wasn't near my phone when this number called. I am from the area, so if they call again, I just won't pick up for that area code at all (in case they have a second number).

Told me the name of the company is STAY SAFE. I asked for their web site and they don't have one.

Same as the rest.  Left a message.  Selling home security systems.  On the do not call list.  I feel an ugly FTC complaint coming.

Have been receiving calls from this number/company for over a week...have told them not to call again, yet they continue calling two or three times a day

They left a partial message on my answering machine.  Said free installation if I allow them to put the sign in my yard.  I also am on the no call list.  As a matter of fact, I have called ADT and told them I do not want their service and not to call me ever again.  The person I talked to was a local ADT rep.
