Caller calls, I answer and then that person hangs up. Very annoying.

Called my business.  When I answered a guy said in a very low voice "sorry wrong number"

Same as above, dropped call after answering.

I receive calls from this number, but I am on the NO CALL list.  How do they get away with this nonsense?

I just received a call from this number.  It's 10:25AM.  When I answered, there was the sound of movement in a leather chair, then a slow hangup.  It's probably a retard. LOL

This number cals 2 to 3 times a week at different times and when I answer there is a hang up. When I call back it is busy. It is consistantly bothering us.

This number calls about once a day and immediately hangs up when I answer.  I usually answer on the 2nd to 3rd ring.  On call back the line is always busy.  I am reporting them to the "Do not call" authorities

this is harassment these people need to stop calling

It is a for profit call center saying they are calling on behalf local fire or police fundraising, they use a predictive dialer so if you answer on the fourth ring it will automatically hang up but if you pick up sooner, the call is transfered to a live agent but there is basically a 5 - 8 second delay before they say hello. I get calls from them all the time, even after I have asked them not to call anymore...a very small percentage of your donation actually goes to the fire or police, the call center usually keeps 85% of it. Police and fire rescuse are not allowed to solicit donations via the telephone turn a profit by making it sound like they are actually the police ro fire rescue, they are not!

Called and asked for my mom who was not home, said they were from the "Police Benevolent Fund" or something to that effect. They then asked for my dad who was also not home and then there was a long pause, at which point the guy says "So neither of them is home?". It was kind of awkward and unnerving.

I get a call from this number about once a day and when I try to call it back it is always busy.

Got a call from that number today. No message.
