keep getting calls saying they are collecting a debt but I dont have any debts. Im waiting to sue the s*** out of them.

Calls are made to me at 7:30 am Law offices this is bull I reported the to better business burial.....everyone should report them soon they will be out of business

I received a call today as well. I simply blocked  them on my phone. For those getting calls at work google that topic. It clearly states they are not allowed to call you at work.

I also received a call from "Mrs. Frances Wright" and what a nasty, cold, rude person she is. After reviewing this so called law firm, I am beginning to wonder if this debt I am paying on is truly valid. The debt was for a Miramar hospital and when I questioned it, she gave me a song about the hospital being under an umbrella or name change. Think I am going to investigate further and stop being naïve.

I to am receiving phone calls at my place of business.  When I requested they stop calling me at work, that it was against the law, the man was very rude and told me they were a law office and so he knows the law!
I immediately hung up as I don't tolerate rude and nasty people.  Sorry Shafritz and Braten, IT IS AGAINST THE LAW.
By the way, this is a debt from a hospital bill that I am paying directly to the hospital!

This organization keeps calling me for Cleveland Clinic debit.  They have been advised to stop and now they are calling my JOB this is against the LAW. Shafin and Derkin

by law you can request a debt validation use a certified letter so you can prove the date they have 30 days to comply or cease trying to collect the debt .

Got a call from them today.  They left a message saying they're a law firm debt collection agency.  If you have debt to pay off, pay it off through the company.  Don't give these people your information!  They didn't even pronounce my name right  -.-

a fast talking RUDE man told me my husband owed a thousand dollars to a local hospital. I asked him WHAT Paul Patterson he was looking for. My son who does not live here went to that hospital for a drug intervention program and was told would be covered with his insurance. the smart mouth said, OH, SO Junior owes it---I told him my son was not a Paul Howard Patterson "JUNIOR" and that he was LOOKING in the wrong place!!! a woman called and left a snooty message today---I want them to STOP calling my home, I do not owe this bill, it is not my husbands bill or my bill and my son is 36 years old, not a minor that I am responsible for.

This number calls almost everyday and it is quite annoying. I'm pretty sure this is a scam ;)

That's very nice and social oriented from you. Your love for the system and healthcare is nothing short of appalling. Of course it would work much better if that money would return to the service or original creditor and not to the filthy pockets of a bunch of mediocre lawyers who make their monies account of self righteous fools like you, who still believe. in other words a very insignificant percent of the collected debt goes to the original creditor but to the hands of scumbags with a title on the wall who never set one foot in court and has not the guts to be in a trial. Opportunists and predrators, leeches and liars is what they really are

Seems there's always someone trying to scare you into paying , even when you think the settlement you made was satisfactory. Go ahead- sue me! Stones are notoriously hard to get blood from, if they think they need a share of my nothing, they'll have to fight me for it.

Thanks for the infor about the fair debt collector act.. They are very rude and started to pay the hospital rather than to send money to this 3rd party although my hospital bill is 2 years old.  These people are rude!!! Report them

I got a call on Feb. 1st (Friday) from someone posing as shafritz and braten (that's what caller ID stated).  They wanted me to pay a three year old hospital bill that my health plan should have taken care of.  The man on the phone was a bit rude and burly.  I responded in kind, and told him to shove it.  After that I hung up

There is a statute of limitations on debts - 5 years for a written and 4 years for an oral agreement. You can file a report to the FTC on their website.  These people are "zombie debt collectors" - they can't do anything but be a pain in the butt and make repeated phone calls. Definitely file a complaint though. And do some research with the Fair Debt Collection Act. You have rights so it's best to do some studying up!

I got a couple of calls, auto messages. from a law office of Shaffert (?) and blah, blah. Left phone number to call back, 561-455-1570, but the messages seem for someone else, possibly the previous holder of the phone #, so I didn't bother to call back. Just block them.

Sorry this is a fraud.. They called my daughter today saying they where trying to collect a debt. First off my daughter is not even 18 years old she is only 15. Second thing is we have never lived in Florida or have we ever used a hospital in Florida. So how can she owe a bill of 2000.00 to a hosiptal she has never been to and she is not even old enough to be responsible for a bill. So people saying we should pay our bills comment on this one.

This number keeps on calling me all the time, and even woke me up while I was sleeping.  It's something about the law court asking for Dan de Deloso (or however you spell it). They make me mad

I just received a message from Shafritz and Brat is what it read on my caller id. It was a woman with a nasty sounding voice that did not say what her call was about just that she had better hear from me by 7 pm tonight. I always investigate before I get myself in a situation, I have been burned a few times. Today is my sons birthday, I wouldn't want someone to ruin the day. I plan to report these b*****ds for harassment, because they had the nerve to call my cell as well.

Tried to collect a 300 debt from a hospital in Dade City.  I was paying it $100 a month, for six months, even though they refused to work out a payment plan because I wasn't insured.  After each payment, I'd get a phone call from the hospital about not paying the full $150 they wanted me to.  I quit paying because HCA created a 'no win' situation and decided bleeding me was more to their taste.  I finally told the hospital to 'bite me' and told the moron from this law firm the same thing.  Go ahead, turn it over to credit report people, I personally don't give a big rats a** after the way I was treated.

I got a piece of mail from them. They gave me the paper with the required amount on it. The amount is approximately twice the amount I originally had to pay to the hospital.

This Law office has been making calls to a company that I am not employed at. This is considered harrassment and I will be filing charges against this so-call Law Firm

I received a call from an Attorneys office 'Shafritz & Brat, claiming that I have a medical bill that has been owed since 2009.  I let them know that I DO NOT & they'd need to contact my insurance agency for any further questions. The lady was rude & said 'you did not have insurance at the time this bill was owed & you will be put into collections if this bill is not paid TODAY'. I let her know again what she needed to do & hung up.
