Got a text from 561-549-2104 at 10:00pm. Said "Direct Express Alert, Card Locked. Please call 5615492104. I don't even know what Direct Express is.

what is going on ? when r they going 2 do something 2 stop this where is the $$$ going ? someplace where they don`t have to answer 4 doing this ?

why is it that we report this over & over & over but nothing ever get`s  done about it ,who is leting this keep going on , why is know one getting charged for this scam ? it is more then just express direct ,it is from someany other s like i got tex from h and r saying my card is blocked . who is that ? they even ask fro my pin # as if i am that dum . i was dum to call in the first place but they cought me slepping so i was not there yet but i never gave the pin i hung up and called my bank and had my cards closed and the bank sent me two new cards . how do they get are phone numbers ? some thing needs to be done . i goole the h/r tex # and it went to a place where they have 7 phones hook up i even gave the addess to the bank but nothing so far is the banks in on thes scam? someone is letting them fall through the crackes.

i got a tex from direct express saying my card was block .when i called they never would pick up .

Got a text from that number on yesterday, Mar 27, 2012, saying my Direct Express Card needed to be reactivated. Then today, Mar 28, got a text from that same number saying my Direct Express Card was locked and to call them. I googled the number and found this site. I knew it was a scam because I don't even have a Direct Express account, plus it came on my work cell phone.

JUst got the same text 5 minutes ago....they sent it twice.....Did not call back..... It's a scam where they have people dial in and then a recording asks for your credit card number...At least that is what I read from other posts saying that they had to call the same number listed here, but that is was from Bank of America...

I recieved a bogus text message fron "Direct Express", saying card locked, call 561-549-2104 to unlock.  

I reported it to my bank and to my cell phone provider.


So, if you don't know whomever called or left a message, don't respond. When unsure, call your bank or credit card company. Never respond to the number they leave.

Got a call from this number two days in a row.  Hate it when this happen.

I DONT HAVE A BOF AMERCIAN CARD

I just received the same thing today. Asking me to call this number and from Bank of America.  I dont' have a Bank of America card either.

These thieves have sent messages to 4 different phones, all purported to be from my bank.  Contacted my bank after the third one.  Total scam

So I called the number, a recording asked for my credit card number, so I looked up generated credit card numbers on the internet, and gave them one of these, with a made up CCV and expiration date.  According to the recorded voice, my "card" was reactivated.  

Funny thing, they called my number back, but when I answered, they hung up.  Scammers!!!!

I got the same text.  It smells fishy to me.  I agree with 'scottp', if you use BOA, let them know about it.

My recommendation is to call B of A and alert them that you received this message.
They'll make a note of this on your account.

They somehow got our numbers from facebook. I just got a new number and changed it on fbook. Due to drrama only 5 people have my number

Got a text message from "Bank of America" said WQEV Alert 826953 Please call
561-549-2104 and appeared to be from 917-559-2776.  Did not feel good about it so googled
this number and got these messages.

Am glad we have computer to check these things!

Yep. I just received the same thing. Uh... No thanks. No identity theft for me. How strange... Apparently it was a mass text though because all of these posts are less than 5 minutes ago.

Received a text from "unverified -sender"  9173987715 Bank of America LPGF alert 744515 . Please call 516 549 2104. Dont have an account with Bank of America. Did not return the text or call the #. Googled the call back # and found this site. Just sharing info. Do with it what ya will.

got a text saying to call this number. Same as above, Bank of america Gold Debit card "has been locked"

I do not have a debit card with Bank of America.

Bad scammer is bad.
