this is a cell phone. the person that called me by NAME and his name was Marshall and claimed to be with the Florida Energy ... when I questioned the real name of his company he replied the State Energy Conservation and I asked what is their main tele# and he said is is 407-574-5517 located in Orlando Fl. but hung up on me when I asked his street address. He wanted to know if my monthly elect. bill was a minimum of $125. --- The trick here is they want to schedule an appointment to come out to your home for a energy survey???? Sure I was born at night, just not last night. CAUTION.

Sounds like a way to get into peoples homes to survey the belongings..........

Just got this call moments ago, same crap there has to be a way to stop all these nuisance calls.
And if some jerk is looking to find out if i am not home.....make it your best shot because i have a big
surprise for anyone who will attempt to break into my home.

got a call last night from this number. The person was laughing in the back ground...then asked for me by last name which i said who? then they hung up. if you call back it will not ring. I will report it also

They called this afternoon and it sounded like they mumbled my name then I politely asked who they were looking for then the woman asked for the manager.  I told her the manager was not available and asked if I could help her and she said no, and would call back another time.  Caller ID comes up BK Angencie.

I just received this call and as soon as I said hello, it was hung up

You people better take this damn advice. I've been plastering this everywhere today: They have a lot of people fooled. Even their employees don't know what's going on. Try giving them a call at 407-358-6168 any time from 9am to 9pm Monday through Friday, and 9am to 3pm on Saturdays. They keep going by different names to the customers, but they're currently telling their employees they're called Elite Information Solutions. It's a scam to get you to schedule a sales pitch for a solar water heater. They've been sued a few times already for harassment, and they keep changing names to avoid lawsuits.

These folks are fishy.....   Maybe they try to see who is at home during what times so they can target their sales campaigns or maybe want to visit your house when you are not around. Who knows with bad economy many people have many ideas and some of them are not good........

I saw an article a few weeks ago that Florida Power & Light wants to hear from people who are receiving these calls about fake energy audits.

My family is also sick of getting calls like this. They fill up our phone's caller list & are just really annoying. I have a 92 yr old father, & 2 family members are in the service, so we kind of jump when the phone rings. Why should we have to jump through hoops to get rid of these nuisance calls when we are the ones paying the phone bill?

Here's a crazy idea.  Has anyone actually tried ANSWERING THE CALL before complaining about it?  It makes no sense to post here if you ignored every call.

That people say they are visa and master agents and ask you if you owe more  than 3K US they will low your interest rate.
When they asked me I tol the guy.."you should know" and hang up, jaja.

When my answered the phone they said it was a company called New Energy. We told them not interested do not call again.....and they keep calling!

They called me an hour ago and yesterday (SUNDAY!!) caller id shows call is from Belle Glade. I have no idea why they would hang up after the initial hello. If they want to sell me something I want to hear all about it so I can slam the phone in their face. A few weeks ago someone called me saying how I can save money from FPL and wanted to make an appointment to come over. It took a few no's before I hung up. I am also on the do not call list but these people still call. I hope what they do to others goes back to them...gggrrrr

Just got a call from this number. Could hear another person in background talking about "hanging up". Likely a call center of some kind. When they asked for me, I told them they had the wrong number.

I got a call from this number. They said they were calling from the Florida Energy Program. I hung up. I get these way too often. I did *69 and found the number was based in Boca, Boynton and Delray. I did not call it back. I have my number on the do not call list also, doesn't seem to work. Yes, it is getting a little old.
