This guy has called our company repeatedly, until he got a contact name.  Uses that name to ask for one of our sales guys, leaves him a message, then calls again the very next day asking for him again.  Happened to look up the number and found this information.  He said his name was Steve Levenson.   I know he's called this company over and over and he's very annoying and harassing.  I will not transfer his call, no matter how many names he drops.  I'm not easily intimidated.  Anyone can be a hard a** over the phone.  He's ruining the company's reputation he's working for.   I'm going to report the number to the FTC.

I am a former salesman for PartsBase.  There are many important things you should now before considering working or buying Partsbase's services.

1.  PartsBase's owner will try to cheat you.  He will attempt to cut your contracted term short.  He will try to renew you early at an increased rate playing book games to fool you.  Beware.  He is a two but con artist and not an honest business man.

2.  If you think he us honest consider this.  He took PartsBase public and raised 40 million on fraudulent representations.  He used an insurance premium to pay off a class action lawsuit for his fraud and personally settle a seperate complaint.  Then having maintained 51 % of the stock he denied a higher priced deal that would have helped shareholders and countered and approved without shareholders permissions a lower deal.  The only winner was him.  He paid himself bank with the cash on hand and then used the rest to build himself a nice home.  By the way while public he bought himself cars and other things with that public ally raised money.  He still does the same today as thought the company was his personal piggy bank.

3.  If you are considering being an employee check out his lawsuits.  He has violated labor law forcing overtime and coercing employees for fear of termination.  He has violated medical law by denying medical leave and purposely terminating employees with health conditions or older employees.  He changes compensation at leisure.  He sees his employees as slaves and says so.  He rehires employees who commit sexual harassment.

They've been told that if we need their services, we will let them know. Yet, they call every single day. Can't comprehend people who can't follow simple instruction. What is it that they don't get? If we don't call you back, it's quite simple that we DON'T NEED your services. Go annoy someone else!

These guys are unreal!  They must be the biggest boiler room ever.  Every three months or so a new voice but the same pitch.  They never listen to me and recently they started asking to meet me.  If the calls weren't bad enough they actually sent one of their sales men of the month to ambush me when I wouldn't agree to meet.  They have taken it to a new low.  They will never get my business!

JR from Partsbase has been harrassing me on and off for over 3 years.  Can't tell you how many times I have asked for him not to call.  I finally reported them to the FCC after the following exchange.  He called one day and said-"so I was on your website and noticed that they it states you have a friendly and warm environment. How could that be possible when you are always so rude to us"!  My only reply at that time was " I am reporting you for harassment".  I did and haven't gotten a call in about a month.  Not holding my breathe though.  I would be embarrassed and super worried about my companies reputation if any of our employees treated anyone like this.

The owner of this company was the owner of a bottled water company in Houston, and they ran the same type of operation. He used the same business model to over inflate his customer base, and sold to one of the largest bottled water companys in the world. The true scope of the scam was not realized until after the purchase nwas complete.

You are new, so I'll spare you. For all others,..This is ONLY a legitimate company, if you consider having a tax ID and the ability to write off assets, a company. I worked for this company, as a rep, for over a year and a half. I have an extensive background in sales ( formally educated ). We all need to work, we get it! This is known in sales circles as one of the worst experiences in the industry. You are trained by competent "educated" managers, to find your way in and never let go. If you do not hit a required quota, by constantly calling and selling to unqualified buyers, you WILL be terminated. Anyone see the movie Boiler Room? They have a room of approximately 80 reps with a 90% turnover rate. I made a conscious decision to leave this place as I could not stomach coming to work every day to scam people out of their money. I'll, unfortunately, have to live with this and move on. Management had fired many "educated" and qualified reps for bogus reasons if they would not conform. The product / system is designed so that they determine that the drop off rate ( people who cannot, will not become profitable ), will try to unsubscribe, thus being sent to collections. Recouping money from people that were EVEN ON THE VERGE OF BANKRUPTCY! I cannot stress again, that this IS a horrible company, whose services should be avoided. Ask you rep about " ghost inventory" ( people listing parts that they don't have ) and see how they spin it.

They just won't take no for an answer. The person who ownes the Co. for which I work keeps passing them to me. (What a jerk) the salespeople are also jerks. You would think they have better leads to call? I won't answer if I see their name on the caller ID. How do I get them to stop calling and harrassing? I've tried being nice, I've tried reasoning, I've even tried being exceptionally rude. All to no avail.

Private number the same never sighned up for service asked numerous times to get off list Sales manager mark constantly calls sometimes 5 days a week periodically once every two months.  Will not take no or went to another company.  Mark is insulted will not talk to him insulting to callers. Mark Manager do not give your e-mail or address out to him.  Beware of fraud and harassment from staff.  They will call you from private numbers.  Beware

These folks are the biggest bunch of A** Holes. I hung up; he called right back. 3 times he did this. I called
Parts Base to talk with a superviser........ Another J***off;  Cliff  that started  trying to wind me up and trying to double talk like a 5th grade Bully! These people have called me for years and won't stop! I have finally had ENOUGH. I have made a complaint to the BBB and we will see what if anything that does. I'm talking with an Attorney and discussing legal options and some illegal options as well. I have told them a thousand times to stop calling and they just keep calling. The harrassment and bullying has to stop. I may be exploring a class action lawsuit and may be looking for others to join.

Years ago we made the mistake of trying their service on a free trial basis. We found it to be of no value to our business. Even at no cost to us we have no use for it. They don't seem to be able to deal with rejection very well. Now we receive sales calls from partsbase several times a year. We have no interest in or use for their services and tell them so every time but they keep calling back. Today I received 4 calls from one of their sales people, Seth, what an anoying individual. He seems to have a problem understanding the word no. If I ever find the need for the service they provide I will not get it from them even if it cost me more to go elsewhere. Due to their insistance upon bothering me with their sales calls when by now they should be well aware that I AM NOT INTERESTED, I am telling everyone I know about how they just don't get it. No means No.

I thought they were an IT company. I'm not sure who you are or how you were taught to conduct business but anyone who is successful in this world uses the same "dont' take no for an answer" philosophy. Maybe if there were people like them out there this country would be in better shape ...and we'd have less bashers and more people who are busy working and complaining less. But then what do i know.

They have been calling me for years, usually at quarterly intervals.  I actually tried out their service on a free basis and knew it was a waste of money after about 5 minutes.  All the other comments are spot on, these telemarketers are extremely pushy and can't take a hint.  Telling them not to call back does no good, they just shuffle your number off to another high pressure sales person who calls again.  I wish somebody would shut them down.

Eric calls constantly and is relentless in his sales techniques. He becomes irate when I tell him that we are not interested. He claims to reduce my bills by sending them to someone or something but if it was that easy, everyone would be doing it, right? He's incredibly annoying and I have already reported him to the Better Business Bureau.
I have to admit that it is rather fun to argue with him though. He's like a child when he doesn't get his way...lol
I can just see him fuming on the other end of the phone when I inform him that I am uninterested in his product.
