We just got simultaneous calls from 504-264-9414 on my home and cell phone, so I answered the home phone. A woman on the phone stated that my husband needs to be home tomorrow for a civil suit document to be delivered. I was given a case file and was told to have my husband call 888-351-1181 to prevent the civil doc from being delivered. I called the 888 # back using *67 and the man who answered said it is KR and Associates. I am assuming this is some sort of debt collection company and not a law firm as they lead you to believe. I do not have any outstanding debts and do not appreciate the harassing calls. I checked the 504 # and it originated from New Orleans.

When he started his schpiel with me, first I told him I didn't open any new accounts in 2012 and then I told him to come and serve me (he called me at work).  I told him that I work for a law firm and the police department is right next door and that I would also have an officer present when I accept the papers.  He then started to rattle on about something, so I told him to go to hell and not bother me anymore!

The exact same thing just happened to me!  When I told Thomas White that I did not have a job in 2001 how could I have opened a credit card he said it was a small balance of $300 that over time with late fees and interest turned into $3500! I said no way I needed proof.  He said he would check his archive file and call back.  He never did!  When I called back his company I got some other guy that said I was clearly lying!  I told him that he was a fraud & that I was calling the police & he hung up on me!  What I'm worried about is that when I called this K & R assc. they asked me for my case # and the last four digits of my social security number which like a fool I gave them.

I received a call on my cell from some guy who claimed he had a package to deliver.  I asked him what sort of package. He said a summons to court, he think.  I asked him what he was talking about.  He asked if I was Cindy Holloway. I said no. Then he said Sandy Barkley. I told him that he was stupid and that he had the wrong number. Then he hung up

I answered and a mans voice just set into talking about some package being delivered to me, I asked 3 times before he would shut up and answer as to who he was looking for, He had My Correct name, talk so fast I could not understand what he or where he claims he's calling from.......

Dear God.. then I said I have No Clue what the Hell U are talking about, he hung up.. I used Google services to call the number back, got a recording of a woman's voice stating No one was available to take my call...that was that..

Rebecca (although probably Sarah in the complaint above) called my neighbor's house looking for her son, saying the same thing.  Her son hasn't lived there in 25 years...if this is a legit debt, shouldn't they have his number/house address that he's been at for 9 years?  The case number also started with 2012.  

This company apparently goes by several names, including KR Associates and Vision Financial.  They go by several numbers, including 877-342-1167; 201-374-8619; 877-335-9692...I'm sure there are several others.

They have also called the inlaws of the son, stating they had papers to serve.  It's been 2 months...They told this elderly woman that her son needed to call them before 8 pm, and papers would be served today between 8 and 4.  His wife is anxiously awaiting the arrival. LOL

Woman, Sarah said she had legal documents that she wanted to deliver with a reference number beginning with 2012. She needed to know if anyone would be home so the civil lawsuit documents could be served. I told the woman I needed to speak with my attorney regarding the unfamiliar issue. She directed me to 888-351-1181 to speak with a Thomas White.

Called. But left no message.
