I had the same problem when my mother called from her cell phone 5709704584 showed on my caller id instead of hers

ive had the same problem when my gf calls me from canada this joke number is displayed on my caller id anyone with any answers please post! i live in moscow pa

update - i believe this may be a collection agency/ agency bounty hunter/ etc. spoofing the caller id in order to record and obtain information to collect on payment. i was a victim of credit card fraud and identity theft that i was not aware of until mid may that has not been settled yet.. let me know if this rings a bell with anyone that posted here

I got several calls from this number on my caller ID.
I blocked my number and tried returning the call but I get
an "error in conection" note with a rapid busy signal.
Could be a scam artist, collection agency, or a hit man
from my ex-wife.
Who knows?
In any event, I highly recommend you let your non-personal
voice mail pick this up....

forget my last update... for those of you recieving calls or placing calls and this number appears from somebody on the other line you know, i believe its called VoIP fraud... its a form of fraud and identity theft... search "VoIP fraud" on google for more information... hope this helps

Someone called from this number, but nobody was there. They did not answer me nor did they hang up. This is the first time this has happened to me. My phone number begins with 570-970 so I thought it was someone local until I tried to google it.

I keep getting calls from this number and they always hang up.I tryed to call the number back and says please try again later all lines are busy.I am sick and tired of this number calling my house,Something has to be done about this.

I constantly get calls from this number, nobody answers and then when you try to call back you get a fast busy or it constantly rings.  What is this number and who are they?

I believe this is definitely some kind of exploit scam because this number showed on our caller ID and my daughter answered. Some Kid claimed to be "Joey" knew her name and kept asking her "Didn't we f*ck?" Has to be some new phone trick.

I got a call from this number from a man named James White.  He asked if I knew "Pablo" and it was a friend of mine.  He said "Pablo" was in big financial trouble, that he was calling me from the financial crimes division, and that if I didn't have "Pablo" call him back then he would take legal action against both of us.

I called my mother in Pa 570 area code from my 321 home phone area code and the number 1-570-970-4584 appeared on her caller id instead of my number. Explain that???

This company has been calling our house for 2 months now. They have called as many as 5 times a day and as little as 2 times a day.  I have had my name on the "do not call list" for years and last year renewed it.  I answer but when I say hello they don't say anything.  This is a company that should be shut down, if only for harassing the hardworking American public, which they are not.  I am reporting this to my local representive and my Congressman.  Don't ever say please to this kind of business.  They don't care what you are going through.  They should outsource this company to Siberia!  Report this to your phone company and any elected official.

Got 4-5 calls since last night on this number but it's small children that keep saying hello.  They asked me who they were speaking to and I told them not to call me back unless they knew who they were calling.  I left the hosue and they called back 2 more times.  What should I do?

Got over a dozen calls in one hour from this number.
Called back from a blocked line and got a rapid busy signal.
Same thing happenned last week and the week before that.
I don't answer and there is no message.
Only occurs when my cell phone is turned on.
No missed calls for this number when its off.
The technology exists that can "ping" your cell phone
to see if its on or not at any given time and I think
this caller is using it.
I've always had a computerized greeting on my voice mail
so as not give out any personal traits, gender, etc.
For now I will turn my phone off when not in use and
let the caller talk to the computer....LOL

Hi, Me again. I just found out that the company that they use is CTSI, LLC. Call that company and file a complaint with there safety dept. I will leave the number below. When you talk to them, tell them that thiss better get resolved and that the company that calls is a scam and if you do not get any help, you will be calling the district attorney and filling a complaint with them about there company providing numbers to known scam artists. I hope this helps, and keep up the good work with taking these scum bags off of our phones.

I just got a call from this Place again. 3 times in 3 days. Idian accent. Became very rude when asked where they where from and how they got my number. Both times they hung up on me. Its not from a police fund but from a lending compnany stating the can give me $1500 dollars. any help getting a good number to call back and bother these people would be great.

caller said it was Online marketing listing. hung up when Iasked where they are located.

I was wondering if you heard any more from the police or the scam artist.  I too, recieved 2 phone calls back to back and also reporting them to the police

A woman, with what sounded like a Jamaican accent, called trying to speak with my 90 year old grandfather. Both my grandparents are tired of dealing with these scam calls so I have decided to deal with these people my self. This woman got very agitated and started swearing when I told her she could not speak with my grandfather. She asked me who I was and I replied, "You called me, so you don't get to ask who I am." Actually I think that is when she started swearing. Personally, I have declared war on these people.

It is not a collection agency, its solicitors for the "Police Protective Fund".  They called me every day at the same time and whether I picked it up or let it go to the answering machine there was dead air.  I finally got them on the phone at one point and kept repeating "Hello" until someone finally answered who was EXTREMELY rude and sounded hispanic saying that they were going to send me a collection envelope for if I change my mind with donating to the police protective fund.  I told them to take my name off of their calling list and he said he would.  I haven't heard back from that point on.  SCAMMISH!  Reported them to my local police.

Called 60 times(no exaggeration) in 4 minutes.  That's almost every 4 seconds.  Left no message.

Called several times during the day, left no messge.  Called the number back on a blocked line, the line was a rapid busy signal.

rang 4 times and hung up
