they keep calling day after day minute after minute I can't stand it anymore! my phone company told me to put my phone on restricted calls only my contacts will get through, these calls will go to voice mail, maybe they will stop but so far they have not!! this is not the only number calling me there is about 7 other numbers. I shouldn't have to restrict my phone what can we do about this?? please help if you can.

longer be in service.  Any person representing themselves as a US Gov. employee is committing a
serious crime.  Report any further activity to the nearest United States Trustee at the United States

These people are definite scammers.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!  They will already have basic info on you IE: Name, DOB, Address, Zip, phone.  Do NOT verify any info.  They are not from the government or where ever they claim to be calling from (the scripts differ slightly about $$ amounts and where they are calling from)  I drilled one of these guys for about an hour trying to get ant and all personal information about himself to no avail.  It did make for an amusing hour though!  Typically they call from India or China and will have names like "Sam Patton" or "Tina" or "John" clearly these are not their real names nor is english their native or first language. All of these related instances SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE FTC. I say again, DO NOT verify or give them ANY personal or financial information about yourself!!

I just had the same problem.... I drilled the woman asking for her supervisor's number and she wouldn't give it to me. So I wouldn't giove her any info and she hung up.

i just got this call too once they asked my date of birth i asked for a # to return the call in case it was a scam. then got hung up on. the number when called back was out of service and i had just gone on line looking into self help agencies

I keep getting calls from the 571-354-5411 on my cell phone.  I answer and you can't understand
what the person is saying.  I keep tell them they have the wrong number and I hang up on them.
I don't give them a chance to say anything.

I tell them to not call my number again.

This number called and also said from government and had a 7000 reward for me. I told them they ar full of sh#$ and they hung up. Foriegn accent.

I had the same call.  She hung up on me when I told her to mail me the check (knowing full well it was a scam).

I get calls from this number all the time but they never leave a voicemail.  I hope next time they call because I want to answer and play along and then at the end just tell them how I feel about their little scam.  ;)

I rec'd the same call today as well. It sounded like a scam so I told not to call back. They have called twice since and hang up when I answer.. I'm also wondering how they got my cell #?

I also received a call from a woman who i could hardly understand and she said the government was going to give me a grant as well. She wanted to know if the money could be ok to deposit it to my bank account or debit card and i said no its not and she said why and i hung up!! How do these people get out cell phone numbers??

This guy calls claims he is giving out governemnt grants $7000.00, I wants my account # to send the money in 45 mins. I tell him to fax me the information he claims, I tell him to send me a check. He gets mad and hangs up... sound like some Indian, This is what we have to deal with for helping these people get out of proverty...thanks alot.

I got the same call from US government grant and asked for my Debit card and bank no. to transfer. they verified my DOB and address, then I doubt it. Finally, as i was talking i noticed that it was a call from a freaking indian guy to loot me. Please don't give ur Debit card or bank info to these cheaters.

Just don't answer the phone if this number calls. You didn't get a government grant of $7,000. This person is just trying to scam you.

Someone called from this number. The call happens almost immediately after getting on the internet. They may have info about people that fall into certain categories and that's how they target your phone number.
If you try to call this number back you get a message it is unregistered and not in service. The caller can barely speak English.

They claim to be from the government offering a grant of $7000.00. Next they will try to ask to confirm personal info. Hang up at once, it's a scam to try and get your personal info.

We know it's a scam, the government doesn't give any money to people, it steals it from you! you'll have figure out a better scam then that!

The person called and claimed to be calling to give a government grant... on a Saturday morning ... the person asked how I want to receive the check, I told him that he can send it to my house, since he already got the information, he hanged up immediately ....
