Let's get one thing straight. I don't think anyone here has an issue with the NRA voicing their opinions. What's ticking everyone off, is they are calling again and again, and THAT is what's pissing people off.

The left wing has brainwashed people? Spoken like a true gun toting redneck.
I've tried using their unsubscribe service now 6 times to no avail. The NRA is entitled to their opinion. I just don't want to hear it.

8 calls in 4 weeks. No one on the line when they call. when I call the number back, it asks me to punch in my number to be removed, and when I do, it says it will be removed in 3 days. Yet the calls keep coming through.

Have been calling me uninterruptedly, twice a day for the last week or so.

Started calling my phone AFTER the election!
I am so tired of hearing all the crap! AND I am on the DNC list, (which NEVER works), calls each day at right around 9am, even on the weekends!

This NRA has called me every morning for the last two weeks at 8:30.  I have answered, but there is no one there and no tape or a reply of any kind.  Tonight I returned the call, per PW above and removed my number from the service.  We will see what happens next.

Received a call from 5714410183 - I am at a place of business, working. Another staff member answered the phone and the call was transferred to me.  They asked for me personally.  They proceeded to tell me I called him about my septic system.  I said that was pretty funny because I only rent my home and I am city sewage.  LOL.  Wished these people would get a life.  STOP THE FREAKING MADNESS!

This call comes in and says political call. I have not answered but why two days after the election?

So why are they calling us here in Ontario, Canada?  They have called 3 times since Saturday and do not leave a message....today I got a human and he wouldn't say who he was since I wasn't whom he was asking for.

Received call from "NRA" on caller I.D. from 571-441-0183. Listened for a while to political lies then hung up. Was an NRA member for 30 years until they became a front for right wing political views. I quit the NRA when all they talked about was how the Government (Obama) was going to take away your gun rights and guns and do away with the 2nd Admendment rights. The NRA has become the biggest shill to sell guns with lies and doing a good job of it because gun sales for the past four years have been so great, some gun manufacturers could not keep up with the demand.

As for an answer to "The One" - you showed your true colors by using "left-wing liberal" in your first reply.

WOW! Look at all the above posts by hateful left wing anti-gun radicals. I believe this board is for identifying unknown numbers, not voicing personal political agendas (there are more appropriate places for that). But that is what the left is brainwashed to do I guess because I see it all over this board.

These type of posts should be deleted because of personal issues, not at all what the board was intended for. I will see what I can do to clean it up and put it back to what it should be..... kind of like the U.S. Constitution!

I started the post here to grab the attention of the offenders on this board, so if you are going to point out that I do it too, don't bother - just doing what everyone else here already did.

NRA political anti-Obama robo-call.

I called this number back and reached the "auto call phone number removal system." I entered my phone number, so hopefully I'll receive no more calls from these gun nuts spreading lies about President Obama.

Answered the phone because they would have kept calling.  Started out by saying they were calling in regard to "energy" concerns.  The NRA cares about energy?  Hung up.

I get a call from this number every day.  Now I'm picking up the phone and saying "get off this line"  It has slowed the call but not stopped them.  I'm really sick and tired of this.

These incessant robocalls have driven me to report them for harassment.

quite calling we are on the no caller list....yet you idiots just ignore that list..we are on the no caller list for a reason...so we don't have to get calls from people like you....

I just called the 800 number for this and waited for the correct menu option. When I had a real person on the other end, I told them I was going to pray to Charlton Heston and ask him to get "all Moses" on them unless they stopped calling.

These jerks called me again, leaving a message saying bad things about our country.

Some guy calling and bad mouthing Claire McKasil.  So SICK of these political calls, makes a person not even wanting to vote.  I will VOTE AGAINST anyone I get calls from.  They mentioned NRA and phone # of

This is the NRA calling on your phone line, intruding into your home or business to try and force you to hear their opinion of whom you should vote for in the upcoming election whether you're interested in what they have to say or not. The particular wing of the organization that handles political calls is the NRA-ILA (Institute for Legislative Action). They have their own website (www.nraila.org/) and you can call them at 800-672-3888, just wait through the robomenu for the 'legislative action' option. Of course, once you get their, what you will hear is that as a 'non-profit' organization they have the right to call whomever they choose because they are not prohibited by the Do Not Call regulations. They will also tell you that they are not the only organization making calls, so that makes it ok. And if you wish to express your opinion about their calling practices...well, sorry, they don't want to hear what you have to say, they just want to have the right to say what they want... Call them anyway, and let them know what you think of their calling practices. (This writers opinion: This organization has lost sight of what the personal freedoms they claim as birthright are all about.)

I also got the call, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker.  www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it. No monthly fees either

My caller ID says it's the NRA.  Probably a robocall for Romney, or actually a sleazy attack on Obama.  I get junk mail from them, too.

Added number to my Digitone call blocker.  Case closed.
