If you are really in Columbia, Mo., as your phone number implies, why don't you take a refresher course in English?  I understand that they have a pretty good college there.  Or you could, of course, just take the English as a Foreign Language course at a local high school and then go for a GED.  Without being too picky, let me cite just the following:

Absolutely! Debts are civil and not criminal matters.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Left a message on my grandmothers phone saying a felony warrant had been issued for my arrest? I know I have not commited any felonies lately. Is this a scam? Im so terrified that someone is going to come take me away from my babies.

Melissa Pelowski called me and said that she had received two complaints that were faxed in to her and that she was going to report me to the county.
