Got the call today...left voicemail from "Tina" stating that we spoke previously regarding lowering my credit card debt.
It's funny coz I am an immigrant and I just moved into the country and I don't have a credit card yet. So, yeah...it's a scam and a waste of my time.

Called my majic jack a completely unlisted number. CC dept consolidation with 1.5% interest. They left the message concerning a call we had from last week. (NOT) SCAM forsure

Wow just got the same call five minutes ago they left a message but judging from what everyone has posted I bet I know what the messages says LOL
Adam 2011-06-06 20:51:49 Unknown
Just got a call also. It was a recording of a guy trying to make it seem as if we had spoken before about a credit card or loan or something.

Received a call at about 1/2 hour ago. Number location said in MO (Missouri).
Female voice left message saying that this is last courtesy call (which obviously I've never received in the past), to have a chance to reduce my credit interest or something. She also left another Toll-Free number to call - 1 877 442 8079
Nicole 2011-06-06 20:51:49 Unknown
Just got the same call, I answered and it was a recorded message telling me to call to reduce my credit card debt.
Weird how its all happening within the hour.

Just got a call to my cell phone from this number too... no message was left, but when I tried to call back, I heard the "this number has been disconnected" message.
Zack 2011-06-06 20:51:49 Unknown
left voicemail about 5 minutes ago, same as above.
Dee 2011-06-06 20:51:49 Unknown
Just received this call a few mins ago. She started leaving a message, I thought she had the wrong number talking about lowering rates on a bill so I answered, everytime I said hello, nothing so I then realized it was a recording. The girl said her name was Tina Stevens and my caller ID gave this number 573-648-2221 but the name came up as Glenda Kennedy on caller ID. This is so annoying!
Martin 2011-06-06 20:51:49 Unknown
Wow, apparently this is happening right now, because I see all these other posts are in the last two hours. I didn't answer but got the same thing as others -- a voicemail from a girl (possibly recorded) saying that "we" had talked about lowering interest rates on "our" credit card debt. I'm not sure who "we" are since I'm single and have NEVER carried a credit card balance from month to month.
It's clearly a telemarking scam, and the company is never mentioned by name.
The girl's voice, "Tina Stevens", sounds like she's a college student at North Dakota State or somewhere similar, even though the area code is from Missouri. The callback number she gives is 1-877-442-8079 - there needs to be some kind of iPhone app where you can submit these phone SPAM numbers to a database and have some botnet in Russia automatically dial the number and then hang up every 30 seconds.

ditto what others have said. Auto dialing, and a recorded voice telling me about lowering my credit card payments. Who ever it is is dumb enough to believe that this sort of call actually works.
EO 2011-06-06 20:51:49 Unknown
Says she spoke to me last week and has a solution for my credit card bills - never spoke to her and only have one credit card with a balance of $4.58. SCAM AND SPAM
Myself 2011-06-06 20:51:49 Unknown
I just received a call from this number and it was about lowering my credit card debt. I tried speaking with them about how they got my number but the woman said she didn't know as the dialing program was outsourced. When I tried to call the number back I got the "this phone number has been disconnected" message. >.>

A recording regarding debt relief. We are not in debt and never contacted anyone though the message claimed it was returning our call.
