These guys started calling about a week ago, coincidentally the same time I created a log-in on google+, saying that I was wanted for check fraud (1st call), I had an immediate legal proceeding against me for felony check fraud (2nd call), they were processing my file for legal action and needed to verify my information (3rd call), etc.  Funny thing is, in the past 5 years, I have written five checks total, my chekbook started at 101 and is now at 106, all five were to the US Dept of The Treasury (IRS), and I have copies of all five checks.  I am going to block their number (if at&t will let me), and report them to the appropriate federal and local agencies.  If you look up their name (acronym) on the web, they are international.

I called this number. This idiot tried to sound southern from Dallas County. A collection agency. He said no he was an arbitrator. Yeah right. I thanked for verifying the number and he said he was gonna check caller ID and see who it was. Call all they want , They cannot do a thing. .

Scam junk debt collectors. Threaten to "serve" you papers by impersonating law enforcement. Illegal tactics.

They have called twice.....all with the same robo recording....all I do is hang up on them but it deosn't do any good...and the do not call list is a bunch of bs....

I think this is the same person that has been calling and accusing me of fraud and I told him not to call anymore, so now today, he called twice, back to back, I didn't answer, but he just stays there silent until the answering maching shuts off and then he calls back and does the same thing.  I guess these people must get some kind of enjoyment out of making prank calls - who knows - Don't let them ruin your day everyone - if you have the option from your cell or your landline, either block the numbers they call from OR use call forwarding and forward calls from their numbers to a random disconnected number - that is what I am doing after I post this.  I am also going to update my "Do not call list" entry and report this number and also report the FCC, as another person here suggested - I am really not doing much today, might as well get these fraud scammers reporte!

A guy named Mr Carter had the nerve to call and say hes an arbitration officer. He is a rude man, he says hid clients want to pursue me for check fraud. He wont verify the info and hed very easily frustrated. If their calling and harassing you, do it back to them. block ur number and call them as many rimes as you can.

Been calling my wife's cellphone regarding file  # 480175 from the office of F.A.N.S. TELLING HER TO CALL BACK (866)219-8497. The call came from (585)366-0556
    Called back few times, but both the numbers are not in service.

They keep calling myself and my sister - telling both of us in a recorded statement that
they have an insufficient check - which is not true.  They call several times on some days.
Fake company and wrong info.

This people have me tired, calls several times a day and threaten me claiming to be some kind of arbitration office in a recorded message.  At first I did call them back but there is an answered machine.  Since I have nothing to arbitrate I am pretty sure it is a scam of some sort.  Please do something I do not want to received more calls from that phone number  Reported to FCC and Do Not Call for harrasment.

They also call from 877-834-2585.
They are a scam they will call everyday and say the law is on their way. They've been calling for a year and a 1/2. First from a 716 number. All the same area.

Don't ever pay anyone over the phone if they will not give you proof.   They have also tried to call and say they have a delivery for me between the hours of ____ and ____ and if i am not at home they will have to bring it to work and then i will have to have a manager prove who i am.  And they block those calls.   I have told them to send me paperwork stating what they are calling about, too many scams out there and on debts that have been paid or do not even exist.   These lowlifes need to find another form of work, instead of harassment.

They called and said they were from the national arbitration and that i was suppose to take care of a matter that needed my attention so iwas to call this number back 585-366-0556 but i could barely understand what they were saying.

Don't ever pay these people anything. This is a fraud and they have no power over you.

Been getting these calls for 3 months. Even calling my family members. I have no bad checks and certainly don't need any arbitration. On top of that they discussed the information of thier supposed claim with other family members which is against the law. Even if any of it were true. I have told them on multiple occasions to stop the calles and have turned over the info to Authorities and they still call. My next stop is the State attorney Generals Office. I'm really tired of this BS.

Claims to b from first national bank, with a return check from my bank...scam! I am the national do not call list, why do they keep calling?
