recieved several calls, haven't answered any. ID says; AFEATURED SERV. Any ideas???

Got two consecutive calls during lecture. Very annoying. Received calls previously from 407-442-0614.

Just got a call now on my cell phone, 11/29/2007 2:30pm.  Did not answer.

407-442-0614 a landline base out of florida
585-492-8968 a landline base out of new york
445-499-0414 a landline base out of ohio
All 3 numbers are a recorded message for "Advocacy for Manageable Health"
But if you call them they are "Mortgage Services" I cant get a live person to not hang up on me when I asked to be removed, so I played along and they wanted to know bank info I told them I would have to mail it to them because I am at work and dont have it on me....hung up on again...they are getting a court summons and my cell bill if I ever get an address. I am now going to contact the state attorney general who is adimatly (sp) cracking down on these types of call...wish you all the best!

Another call from 585-492-8968, recorded message "Attention Mortgage Brokers...blah blah blah".  I get this call 2-3 times a week.  No company name on caller ID, just "Buffalo, NY"

Stupid spam call. Nuke them! Just interrupted my life and disconnected. Auto-dialer.

Get this spam call today. Why don't we have a blocklist?
When I was in other country, my cell phone usually has a block function. If you don't want to recieve phone call from certain number, just put it into blocklist.

can we get that IT persons number too so we can all be taken off this spam call list?

Ever time i pick up the call its the same darn thing. I get someone on the phone Mitch.. sounded like he hated his job. talked with him for 3 mins i start to say i looked your number up and he hung up on me. Ok i work for a living to why do would someone do that to people and go home and feed there kids like i do and sleep at night. Knowing he pissed millions of people off.. WELL FYI i reported all the numbers listed above to the Cops and my phone company. I hope you all do the same thing i did and report them if you think pressing the #2 will help your wrong i got 100's of calls and i pushed #2 every time. So report them if you keep getting calls.

I added this phone # to "spammer.1" too.

The ringer for that # is now set to a "silent" tone.  Never hear them calling again.  Wish my cell phone carrier had  a "call block" feature, to at least block out the unknowns and allow only people I know - it is MY personal phone afterall.

Just got a call from this number on my phone at work.  It rang three times and they hung up just as I picked up.  *69 gave me this number, but wouldn't let me call it back, now I'm glad I didn't answer it in time after reading all these posts about it.

585 492 8968 called my cell phone stating that I need to press 1 to be notified about a factory recall on my vehicle.  No mention of name or company so I hung up.  Luckily it's 2007 and my truck from 1985 still runs fine.  I'd advise to not press any numbers since that might in fact acknowledge your presence on the line.

Two calls in the last week or so. Caller ID just says "New York, 585-492-8968." I don't answer them. It is annoying.

Received a call at work from this number.  Recording starts by saying, "Attention mortgage brokers".  I just hang up but am so fed up with these calls.  There needs to be something done.  Total harrassment.

My mom got a call from that number, but she says "the person knows her name and continually asks why shed doesnt call him." sounds a little creepy to me.

I'm in high school, so we can't have our cell phones on ring during the day, for the past week or so, this number has been calling me during the school day.

Got a call from 585-492-8968 on my work phone after I'd went home for the evening. There was no message, it was a hang-up call.

I just got a call from this number (I didn't answer) I saved this number in my cell as 'spammer1', so that if they call me again, I will know which spammer is calling.

I know for a fact that these are the same people that own 202-552-1332, as I have spoken to their account rep at their carrier (which is global crossing) as well as my local police department when I filed a complaint and had the cops call their carrier. We were able to successfully have them stop calling our business, and when I saw that this number was calling, I immediately called the police again and they gave me the info to call the company directly. If you call the 585-492-8968 and then call 202-552-13321 you will notice that they have the exact same message. The guy from their IT department told me that if we got any more calls from any other numbers, all I had to do was call the number back and if that message plays then it is one of their numbers since they have 500 numbers that they use with their auto-dialer. I did have to take it to the extreme of filing a police report in order to press charges if they don?t stop (which I planned to anyway) but they have completely stopped calling us and have basically blocked our entire area code just to ensure that they don?t violate the law anymore. As an extra bonus I do have the main IT guy?s cell phone number now and can call him directly if we have anymore issues.

I have been receiving calls from a scary scammer who somehow obtained my roommate's credit card information, and we think they may have done it by hacking in through her account at our college. I just received a call from this number today, so I have a feeling they are related. If you get a call from a weird publishing company saying you are entered in their million dollar sweepstakes and have been selected through preferred customers from Visa, Amex, or Mastercard, make sure they know nothing about you before hanging up. The people on the other line are real, so you can chew them out.

Hey I got the call  from same 585-492-8968  they asked two options in voice mail  "1" for knowing the some health realted product and press "2" to remove from there database. I pressed 2 and I called my service provider and said block the business calls to my mobile. I never pick up the phone in the day time mostly... if I dont know the number mostly I will wait for voice mail.Pls advise me to block those type of calss permanently...
