Received a text from this number on January 26, 2012 at 1022 pm.  It stated that Tonawanda Community FCU Notice:  Your CARD has been deactivated.  Please contact us at 716-701-6713.  I called the Tonawanda FCU the next day and was told that it is a fraud and that the police have been notified about this.  Please be aware.  This is a FRAUD.  DO NOT RESPOND.
Caller: 585-705-8957 came up on caller id

Text says my card has been deactivated and to contact them! I don;t have an account with them, Left a number to call 775/629-4058. Did not call it - search of number comes up as a number that would direct me to India!

We received a text message that our card with Umpqua Bank beginning 4788 had been deactivated.  Don't have a card with Umpqua Bank.

Text Message:
"UNION BANK ALERT:  Your card has been DEACTIVATED.  Please contact us at 870-776-8563."
The contact number is in my state.  I don't even have an account at Union.  I get this garbage all the time.  The price I pay for convenience, I guess (cell phone/text).  I sometimes wonder what they would have to say if I ever called...  Not going to happen, of course.

I do not have a First National Bank card, the message was "your card starting with 4054 has been deactivated, please contact us at 903-258-9516.  If I don't have a card how was it deactivated???
