This is another scam.  I get a lot of these during these bad economic times.  Do not answer the call or have it blocked.

The caller ID says "non profit".
That does not verify their legal status. It's simply a name.

Could you determine the legal status of an ID that showed up as "Smith" ?

Same goes here! It's a trick to get you to answer.

my mom received a call from these people, as she is confused and couldnt hear they susposedly are coming to her house this week, well, surprise,surprise, if I find out it is a legitimate scam then there will also be some police waiting as well....thanks for the info.

Called me early in the morning.  Appears as Financial Services.  Tried to call them back later but got no answer.

Susan here, Brenda on another site, and also a Christine. They're always the first post saying how great the company is and how thankful she is she got the call. Definitely BS all the way. The company is Financial Services of America. Supposedly a non-profit. Can't call them back. No answer. They're FAR from legit. Add this number to your "Do Not Answer" contact and be done with them for good!

Wow, thanks Brenda. Because of what you said I'm going to give my whole life savings to someone who cold calls me and that I dont know and let them do whatever they want with it.  The only thing different about this place is that they use a phone instead of a gun.

Perhaps Brenda works for this company!  No way any legitimate company would not leave a message, or would be unable to contact.  No way ANYONE should ever meet with someone who seeks them out about money matters. The only time you should give anyone your financial information is if YOU contact THEM after you know they're legit.  I'd bet anything they're big time scammers.

Woman asked to talk to me. My husband told her I could not come to the phone. I told him to ask who it was & she hung up. Caller ID said Non-Profit. I highly doubt that.
Brenda I can't believe you would fall for this. So many names with this same number. BEWARE!

Received a few calls from this number over the past few weeks. Cannot return calls - it never connects.  I agree with Larry.  If legitimate, why don't they receive calls?   Brenda's post here sounds like a canned response from the company who is trying to legitimize their company/calls.

Got a call from them as well.  As others pointed out, legitimate companies solicit using US mail, not phones.  Scamming using the US mail system is a felony, and phones are not.  If anyone gives positive feedback, they are somehow connected to these illegitimate services.

Also got a few calls.  Decided to call them.  Same problem... can not call them.  If it's legitimate, then why don't they receive calls?  Its a scam, and anyone indicating otherwise, no doubt works for them.  ALL legitimate companies work by US mail. and not solicit via phone.

Brenda - you are full of B.S. and probably work for Financial Services of America.  Caller ID says non-profit, so how can that be???   I call B.S. all the way around

Financial services of America is not a non profit and had better adhere to the do not call registry

I thought I would comment on this webpage to let anyone know that this number is from Financial services of america. I'm really happy I was home to receive this phone call so i could take advantage of this company's services. They've treated me with more respect than my last financial company I had my money invested with for almost 15 years. I have a new agent from here, who is smart and understanding of my complex financial situation. I trust this company and my agent 100%, and would most certainly refer my friends and family to them.

I received a call from this number about a week and a half ago, It's from a financial services of america and they called to set up an appointment to drop off some packet and coupons and actually all kinds of information. I met with a really nice, smart guy and questioned what they were about. Turns out they were actually everything i just happen to be looking into, I set up an appointment to get my trust done and started discussing the possibility about investing some extra money. They're really down to earth, normal smart guys who know how to help you be smart with your money. Great company, doin great work.
