Got a call this morning. Didn't pick it up because I didn't know who it was. I googled it, landed on this site, and now I don't know what to do about it.

After many weeks of getting no response there was finally someone on the line when I answered. They claim to be a "non profit" organization EPSA.  They wanted to invite me to a lunch at a local eatery.  They would show me how not to tap into my 401K.  Nonprofit I don't think so.  When I mentioned that we were on the National Do Not Call List she said they are exempt because they're nonprofit.

Calls all the time, this is the 3rd time today and it's only 11 am. Now I pick up and hang up so they know someone's home.  It's very aggravating!

They call me just about everyday.  They don't say anything, and it seems like an automated call.  You can't call the number back.  Very annoying!!

They called me today and offered a free lunch for two.  They identified themselves as the American Professional Services Association located near 13 Mile and Van Dyke in Warren, Mi. When I told them I was on the national do not call list, they said they were exempt because they were a non-profit organization.  They offered to remove my number from their list.  (How can a non-profit organization buy free lunches?)  I will report the call with the do not call web site.

They claim to be a non-profit organization named the American Professional Services Association located in Warren, MI near 13 Mile Road and VanDyke Avenue, but they invited me and a guest to a free lunch meeting at the Villa Penna restaurant.

Calls at anytime.  When I answer the caller hangs up.  When I call the number, a recording says the number cannot be connected as dialed.  I'm in area 586 and I tried the 7-digit call, the 1+7 digit dialing, and the 11 digit dialing.  All said I couldn't connect as dialed.  Is there another way to dial a number???

I wish they would STOP calling.

Someone called from the number a few minutes ago. They hung up without saying anything. I dont know what their searching for. Maybe theives finding out if anyone is home. There are so many scams out there you dont know what to believe anymore. NOTE: I tried calling it like everyone else with the same results, even though we are also on a no call list. My theory is: if I dont know the number or called ID I do not answer the call. Terrible to do, but the nuisance of these calls is pathetic. If we can go to the moon, why cant we stop these jerks??

These people did call, offering a complimentary gift, and set up an appointment. However, my mom attempted to call their number back, and she got 'unavailable'.  She thus did not want to go through with this appt.  I believe that this organization is 'preying' on older people. When this person came by, he was not even let in the house. When asked about his organization, and what they represented, all of the answers were vague. does not get in the house. He  was carrying a notebook that read something like 'Professional Benefits Services' or something to that effect.  

I believe that these people are scammers, attempting to sell something to older people that they may not actually need.

they called twice this morning and both times did not leave a message.

Got calls from this number and looked it up when they hung up after I answered.  Found all of these entries/scams.  Called my phone company and they told me how I can block this number from my home phone so I won't get bothered by this caller any more.  They also told me how I can file a report with the police department and get a trace on it.  Time to turn the tables on these annoying callers!  :D

They identified themselves as American Professional Services and said they wanted to drop off a packet at my house at 2PM Monday, would I be home? I responded "NO" because I realized it was not an employment call my husband was waiting for, but they just hung up. I immediately realized that they now think that no one will be home during the day. I tried to call the number back, but it can not be connected. I have called the police dept. and let them know about the scam.

Received call from 586-283-3300 April 22, 2009 at 9:50 a.m. Answered call and no one there. Tried to return call and received announcement from phone company that number... 000-000-0000 was not valid. Why phone company reported number as 0's is not known.

This number continuously calls when answered no one there.  Call back get not available....

I received a call from the number 586-283-3300 on Aug. 25, 2009, at11:28 a.m.  No one said any thing and I could vaguely hear music in the background. The telephone number registered as being from Warren, Michigan.

They called and said there would be someone delivering a complimentary package on Monday. They had my name and address!
