I did not get a call from them, they just charged my C.C with an internet charge on 4-06-08. My computer is presently down and could not heve been me because I couldn't get on the internet. Had to shut down my C.C. because of this.  Also happened on another C.C. that I had.  Need the FTC maybe to look at this.

I have the same charge and called Visa.  They said it was a computer software company.  Obviously a scam.

we just found a charge for tamarack design as well. we are in MN. it was on 8-19-08 for 11.89 our card was visa. will call the bank tomorrow.

I also received a charge on a Capital One card for Tamarack Designs for $12.79 and the credit card company is pursuing identity theft/fraud. I had not used this card for six months....when I went online to find out about them I saw this site. I have never been to a Sweet Bay store and haven't been to Florida in a long time. The account is frozen and I will be getting a new account.

So is everyones problem with their Capital One Credit Crd or is it multiple cards?  Mine was a Capital One card.

I got the same charge and same # on my Credit card.  I hope someone finds out who this is and puts their butts away for awhile.

I have a card I have been trying to close for 3 months and all of a sudden I get a statement for $12.79 for this Tamarack Design!! Called number and it also was this Art guy, left message telling him to stop phishing my account and if he's not associated to call my cell. That was probably stupid. oh well now my credit company is closed and I have to take time to call them. I really don't have time for this! Thats the whole reason my account was not closed. I hope somebody gets caught! Oh the phone # was 206-683-6668.

I also was charged to my debit today from this same company. When I called the number a recording said all operators are busy,please leave a message on the e-mail! I now have to go to my bank and fill out a form. Thy billed me for $11.89!This was billed on August 25th,2008....

They got me too, for $11.89 on 8/25/08. But because I didn't recognize the charge, I googled the company and found this website. I immediately disputed the charge with the bank; they refunded the charge, cut up my check card, and have issued me a new one. I use my check card a few places, but mostly around town- gas stations, grocery store, etc. But I use paypal to buy two things off ebay recently and something from beveragefactory.com. This is too many instances of the same charge to take lightly. I hope this mofo gets arrested, charges and prosecuted. Imagine how many people have missed such a seemingly insignificant charge deducted from their accounts? Whoever this is, he or she or they are making a fortune.
Fight fraud, people. Check your statements. Report this unauthorized charge.

I used my card in Florida at Christmas at a Sweet Bay. What is the scam all about?

I received my credit card statement yesterday (8/16) and there was an unauthorized charge for $11.89 from Tamarack Designs 206-683-6668 WA. I called the # and got a runaround message..."Hey, you must be looking for Art. He's not around..." Now I'll have to spend time writing a letter to my credit card folks to dispute. Thanks for being a jerk, Art.

Did you use your credit card at a SweetBay grocery chain from December 07 through March 08?......I have a disputed claim with my credit card for 11.89 on May 2, 2008......

I did not receive a call, but on April 30th, 2008 my credit card was also  charged 11.89 by these creeps.  I don't know how it can be resolved since they seem to be using a "dummy" phone number, but I'm starting with my credit card company.

They got me too for 11.89 on 4/28. Filed a fraud charge with my bank.

Same here, 4/30/08 an $11.89 charge to my visa account from Tamarack Designs in WA.  Reported to credit card company fraud dept.  Can you imagine for such a small amount, how many people wont bother, they could rake in millions !!

Same happened to me.  4/28/08 Tamarack Design for $11.89.  The only other thing I used the card for in this time period was for to advanced auto web site.

This is the second time in the past year my wife or I have had freud problems.  I sure would like to meet these criminals in dark alley.  It's ashame you have to be afraid to buy the things you need.

My company credit card was charged $11.89 on 4/25 and posted on 4/28 to Tamarack Designs. I never received a call from this company and we have no association with this company.  When Icalled the phone number 601-667-4534 it stated no longer in service.  I will file a dispute with our credit card holder company.  Can't someone stop this?  It seems a lot of people are getting hit by this scam.

I was charged 11.89 on 4/25. The only other purchases I made that day were a train pass and a purchase at a clothing store. Maybe it's tied into one of these stores?...

Got a charge on my CC from this Tamarack Designs in WA for 11.49.  Filed a dispute with Capital One.

I also received a charge to my credit card on 5/5/08 in the amount of $12.79 from Tamarack Designs.  I will get in touch with my cr. ard co. and complain.  They obviously have an account with the credit card co. to get these deductions.

I didn't receive a call, but I did get the charge on my debit card.  It was 04/11/08 in the amount of $11.89 to Tamarack Designs.  I cannot get through to this company on the phone.  I have contacted my bank and they are disputing the charge for me.  The only drawback is having to get new debit cards.  But my banks is prosecuting the owners of this company and I think it will be worth it in the end.

I'd like to add that my credit card was also charged for 12.79 on 04/30 by Tamarack Designs 601-667-4534 WA. It was on a Pay Pal Mastercard which I had not used since last summer. I'd like to know where these people are getting our card numbers also. Pay Pal has canceled my card and will dispute the charge. Hopefully they will be able to find the owner of the account. I wonder how many people just go ahead and pay it without ever checking.
