I heard the telephone ringing as I came home...instantly saw the area code & new it was MS. My mother has moved there....she does not communicate with our family & is 81...thought someone was calling to say she was ill or dead.

Called this afternoon. Did not leave a message.  Came up "Name not found" on caller id.  Curious who it is from.

Called 10/02 @ 12:27pm according to my Caller ID.
No message.
"Mississippi" on Caller ID.

The caller ID was just Mississippi - but when I tried to answer there was no message.  Strange.

Have received several calls from number have tried calling it back to ask them to stop as am on the do not call registry and they never speak when they call just hang on or hang up after a few minutes. Every time I called back (from Ga.) I get an operator telling me "I'm sorry this number has been changed or disconnected please contact your operator for more information" so no help there as the only way to get a operator is if calling long distance or to report problems on your line, I do have call block and have finally got around to blocking them. Anyone else? More info?  I would truly love to have these cretins stopped.

Got a call from 601-769-6529.  Answered phone on 3rd ring, and caller hung up.  We are on do not call lists. I am originally from Mississippi (now in Texas) and thought it was some kind of family message.  When tried to call back, automated message instantally cut in saying could not complete call, and contact your operator.  

When I searched the number, found many others had the same experience.  Obviously a solicitation call.

I am on the do not call registry and got a solicitation call anyway.

Iam also on the do not call list and saw Mississippi on the ID turned my fax on and gave then an ear full of fax tons haven't see them call back yet

Just received same call, no one there....from 601-769-6529.  I am also on the do not call list.Caller ID said "name not found" Since I am waiting news that my family arrived safely from their road trip I am glad to see that this is a known nuisance phone number.  Thanks!

I just got a call from 601-769-6529 and they just hung up.  I called back and the recording says that it is an invalid number.  Whomever this is.....F*** Off and Die!!!!!!!!

No Answer, it happened at 8:36 pm Eastern Time.. just sat there.. and blank then they hung up!!!

Got a call from these folks today. Silence on the other end. Hubby hung up. He takes no crap. ?

Got a call from this number. Mississippi shows in caller ID.  When you call it back, you get a message that the call cannot be complete as the number is incorrect.

just got the call - didn't answer and looked it up.
dang - should have answered and gave the guy a hard time.
maybe he'll call back.
what i want to know is how the phone companies can allow this go to on - once reported.
shut those numbers down
