they called me at home and then called me at my work.  My work told them it was not ok to contact me there (cause I don't work at the office) and still keep trying to call me there

Called and caller ID just showed number. Husband and Uncle have exact same names and collectors call us thinking we are the Uncle. Or they call for people we never heard of. Haven't these people ever heard of the United States Postal System?  You would THINK they would send out a notice first. Am getting sick of being accused & harassed of lying when I tell them they got the wrong person.

I get all calls all day, every day.....between these people, student loans (which are in the process of being consolidated but they call anyway because the right hand doesn't know what the left hand does).  I don't even know what I owe anymore.  Ugh!

This is a new one for me - I have no credit and have had none since 1999 when my identity was stolen. I'll have to remember what you said about the collections agency. Maybe that will get them off my a**!. Some of the stuff they call me about are payday loans which you can't be sued for nor can they take you to court. And to top it off they are from somewhere I used to live and all are after I moved 2000 miles away from that area.

Received a call from this number and a woman named Renee left a voicemail asking for Jasmine Washington with a number to call her back at. I think it's a debt collection call. I googled the number and it seems to be a debt collection agency. I'm unsure why they have my number associated with someone I don't know.

call me at work ....one think about collection agency they buy your debt from companies you owe and believe it are not you don't owe that debt any more once it bought.....but after that you don't owe that debt with them unless you agree to pay them now that's when it becomes a contract agreement again especially when you agree to set up payment arrangement.......just block the number.......................

Send them a letter via certfied mail with return receipt requested informing them your employers do not allow calls at work. Also send them a letter demanding validation of the debt. This is your right under the FDCPA. If they do not respond, continue calling or take you to court, you can sue them.

They called mer at work which is illeagal to do according to the BBB then they calledy cell and I did not answer because the debt they said I owe does not exist. they say i owe 153 dollars for anytime fitness which I have not belonged to in almost 2 years

These people don't realize that we all are struggling and tring to survive, they have a lot of nerve picking on us not so fortunate people just trying to make it in this economy.

They are trying to collect the deficiency balance on a Desert Schools Federal Credit Union car loan for a repossessed car.

They want over $7,000 for a car that I no longer own and can never drive again.  I offered them $2000 to settle the debt, but they refused.  

I will eventually pay this debt, but only if they will work out an agreement with me that is reasonable.  Otherwise, I would rather die and go straight to hell than give in to their demands.

It's a collections agency....got so much debt right now, not able to keep up! I ended up hanging up to, but the problem is is that they called me at work.
