If you get a call with a 602 area code, tell them they've got the wrong number. I've had at least 5 to 6 different 602 numbers calling me and they all want money and want it right away. If they can't get money immediately their chances of ripping you off have gone down a lot, and they know that.

I just received a call from a lackadaisical-sounding fellow who asked if he could speak to "John." I answered, "This is John," at which point the caller immediately hung up.

This caller and/or the owner of this number caller, from this and previous posts here, is evidently involved in less-than-legal pursuits of some kind, and should be investigated and stopped. I love the idea of this website and others like it that alert the savvy user to possible fraud, but how can we see that these folks are compelled to cease and desist their unlawful practices?

Numerous calls on similar numbers looking for the wrong person - keeps leaving cell phone messages - upon callback they refuse to remove me from their list. Possible collection agents or solicitation - I am wary of any calls to the number because god knows what I will be charged for returning the call. Could be one of those off shore rip off $900.00 billed calls. Now I just delete all.

I have received a call from these people today at 4:02pm EST. It rang like twice and I did not answer and they just hung up I did not even need to pick up my phone. The rumor has it is someone by the name of John Barber used my number on some survey. I think someone sold my number to these son of a biscuts who will be getting my lawyer talking to them.

Calls and rudely asks to speak with an individual name "John ...", when I ask for them to remove me from their call list they hang-up before I can complete my sentence.....
