someone keeps calling me from this number to tell me about a business that will require $199 to start. He wants me to pay by credit card over the phone, and also told me, that if l wasn't satisfied by the service l got, l could refuse to pay the credit card bill, and the credit card company will be the one to suffer. That is terrible!!!!

I just want them to stop! I called the number back. I got some nasty woman who told me that I was interested in opening a home based business and I contacted them with my information. When I asked how I would have contacted them when I've never even heard of them, she got even nastier. I told her I was reporting her and her company to the phone company and the authorities. She started cursing at me. Wow she must be a really great salesperson if that's all it takes to make her angry. As annoyed as I am with calls, it was really funny that I could make her so angry that she was cursing at me. Most telemarketing types can take that stuff and still go on with their sell. I hope she isn't paid on commission.

well...ive recieved 2 calls from a (602)840-0702 number...i answered the 2nd one tonight and it was from someone claiming that visa had a wonderful, legit at home work offer for me! of course i was interested, since i thought visa was legit! i listened to the 5 minute presentation...only afterwards to be told that it would invlolve a $150 start up charge! of course by this time a "senior" representive was telling me this! It still sounded legit....maybe....but who pays money to start working FOR someone...esp. visa!!!! It came down to me telling him i would need to talk to my husband 1st then make the decsion, he of course at this point changed his tone...pressuring me to give him $. even saying things like its better to ask for forgiveness then deal with regret??? WHAT THE HECK???? he went on to say things like " i have a house and like 7 electric guitars"...like his wealth would pursuade me!....you know how he got rich right?...by stealing ppls $! i was practically laughing my now...he pulled my last straw when i asked for a # to contact in the morning if i was interested and he said i had to do it RIGHT now...and wasnt even gonna give me a contact #...he said they would contact me! geez....the nerve of these people! ok...just called the # back and it said the mailbox belonged to a girl "trish"....hmm...whatever...losers!

Now someone just called from 602-997-2301 but I didn't answer. This is HARRASMENT!

Someone just called me from 602-414-0204.  Said his name was "Joe" and refused to identify himself further when asked. Then the smartass got rude, then he hung up on me.  I am definitely reporting this company to donotcall.gov.

A guy called claiming that I filled out an online form for an in home business opportunity. This is the second one that I have received. The first caller was extremely rude and combative and refused to take me off their list but this guy was nice and said he would remove me although he hung up pretty quickly when I said that I was on the do not call list. This means very little to me since this company is gathering information illegally or buying it from someone who gathers it for them. I doubt his politeness and assurances are worth staking much on. This call came from Phoenix Arizona on a residential line. The last one was also residential but from Tempe Arizona. I am starting to think that this is actually a home business in itself. PLEASE REPORT THESE CALLS TO donotcall.gov Let's get this stopped!

I received a call from this number saying that I inquired about a home based business.  I did not recall doing so. I immediately hung and and the man called back and said we got cut off.  I said "yes, I know" and hung up again.  He called back and told be to treat him like I would want to be treated and hung up on me.  I admit that I did behave rudely, but it was unprofessional of him to call me back and tell me to treat him like I want to be treated.  I would not want to work with a company whose associates behave this way.

I got a call from this number (James the first time and James & then Peter Wright the 2nd time) about becoming an Authorized Merchant Banker for Visa/Mastercard as an in Home business representative. Listened to a recorded presentation.  When Peter, the Senior Representative came back on the phone during the 2nd call asking for a initial investment of $239.78 & asked if that was an amount that I could afford today, I told him no, he hung up immediately without saying anything else.

Just received a call from this number along with a couple others over the last couple of weeks.  A little frustrating as the number is my cell phone and I am charge for a minute if I pick up the call.  Now if I do not reconize the number I am ignoring the call.  Does anyone think that maybe the cell company does this on purpose to charge minutes to cell phones????

I got the same call as well. I picked up, no one said anything, and when I tried to call back, only the answer  machine picked up.  It was for an "advertising" business but did not list a business name.

Somebody called me about starting an "in home business" from this number

I answered the call and it was silent for a split second and then someone came on the line. They are a telemarketer for an online submitted customer inquiry to an "in home business."  Someone has obviously sumbitted my information and along with this phone number I get several other calls for the same requests. Stupid people...

ALL, you are not alone!  I feel so stupid - I've been scammed by at least 3 online "opportunities" in the past two years, including Angela Penbrook and some other woman named Deborah something who had IDENTICAL Information on their sites - not One Word was changed!!

I actually purchased a website from these people, charged to US Lending, aka Smart advertising Solutions, They contacted me under the name of Image Incentives.  And sold me the DEAD website: http://swreunionspromotions.com AND requested that the word "promotion" be in the title in order FOR search engines to pull up!!  Well, no search engine pulls these sites up!!

Whoever they are, they are ALL guilty as far as I'm concerned!  If their names keep being linked together, they are all making money selling DEAD websites and THEN Charging $4,000 to create a "Press Release" to market said DEAD Website!!!  Mind you, I paid $200+ (which was too much then-the same price listed above) for the website, that's when they hit you with the $4,000 request to market your site by providing a Press Release to drive traffic to that DEAD website they just sold you.

I said no way and I haven't heard from them since!!!!!  I have also made NO $$ from the site as Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft search engines don't even Recognize them, which makes it DEAD!!  There is no hope of changing this situation either - because WE as owners, do not have access to changing, adding, or adjusting the Meta Content or Meta Tags in order for search engines to pull up JUST the Home Page of their websites (which Google, the largest search engine with 62% of the market, does for free!)

I happened to learn this information from another company who took me to several sites to learn all of the above about Google for FREE!!  Ladies and gentlemen who have these DEAD websites from Image Incentives, or Smart Advertising Solutions, US Lending, and whoever else is selling them, please visit: http://visible.net and they Might be able to help you actually earn money with your site - but I don't know how much they are charging because I don't have ANYmore money to invest further in the DEAD site that I have ended up being SCAMMED into buying and duped into believing their "ready made business" was legitimate.

By the way, I think the only reason the harrassing phone calls from the numbers listed above aren't "people" calling, those may be from animated calling machines that are programmed to dial several numbers - and when the First person/number is answered, it hangs up on all the other numbers it has called.  That I found out about on my own.

I hope this information helps someone else out there...I wish I had the intelligence to Look Up a Company BEFORE I buy into their "too good to be true" claims!  I am learning as I go.  What else can I do?

I get calls on my cell phone from this number almost every day.   I usually don't answer it, but when I do, no one is there.

We've been receiving calls ID'ed as "Smart Advertising Solutions" for several weeks, and they all ask to speak to Pam Hall.  They tell us that Pam Hall has given our number as her number and they ask if anyone in our household has a credit card ending in xxxx.  We've told all of them that no Pam Hall lives here and to please remove us from call lists.

Finally found this site today after after a search following a caller from 602-414-0204 becoming verbally abusive with my wife on the phone.  Have registered with our number with donotcall.gov ... will make sure that is up to date.  

Any other ideas on how to stop it?

It's actuallly from a "make money from home" business

I keep getting calls from  602-414-0204 and I don't answer them.  I am at work when they call and I can't.  My phone sits on my desk in case my kid calls.  Today I received a call from this number then 509-930-8248 and  503-975-2967 all with in a minute of each other.  I just want this company to stop.

The calls start every day between l:00PM and 2:00PM. Today has been the most annoying - 4 calls within 30 minutes! And the zinger is that all my phones are on the "Do Not Call" list - how's that happen?  Why can't these jerks be shut down?

I keep getting calls from these people too.  I told them twice to quit calling and they still call.  I sent an email to info@smartlendingsolutions.com, no answer back on that yet.  I left a message for Matt Olsen too, said to quit calling me and I reported them.  I should be on the no call list...just added my number again just in case.  I'm getting calls from someone else too claiming they can give me the car loan I applied for (I never applied for or even requested info about a car loan).  Reported them too, fraudsters.  The calls started coming about a week after I noticed a fraudulent charge on my bank account.  Had to close the account.  I think they are all connected to the same company that leaked the numbers.  Anyone buy stuff from vistaprint or stamps.com lately?  I think I've narrowed it down to those two companies.

Just received a call from this number along as well as been getting other calls from 480-588-0730 and calls coming up as "Unknown" over the last couple of weeks.  I called my cell phone company and they said there isn't much I can do about it but to change my number.  It's frustrating as it is a cell phone and I am getting charged minutes if I pick up.  I now do not pick it up if I do not reconzie the number.  As stated above it possibly being a collection agency I have no reason to have anything in collections.  I will register it on the no call list and hope for the best.

I'm glad I found this website. I've been called by the following numbers and the calls have been becoming more and more frequent.  They will often call one after another.

I have found something called private phone dot com, and now I use that anytime I give out a my number. I dumped my home number because of all the stupid calls I was getting.  I give out this private phone dot com number even to my credit card companies. (the source of a lot of stupid calls) Even to friends, because the service has a cool feature to "edit" the people that call me. It's free, and they even e-mail me the voice messages!  So I get a lot of calls from this number but thank goodness I don't have to hear it ring. Screw the telemarketers !!!!
