I use Ipage for my web hosting, and someone just called and left a message and said...
"Hello...(3 second pause here) Person (yes, he said person).  This is Jeff give me a call at ipage your web hosting.  Give me a call so we can go over a few things. We need to give me a call me at 855-623-22(5 second pause here)32. Email me at my contact information so we can work on this. Bye"

Yes... that was my exact message...word for word.

Oh and no, its not really ipage.

This is iPage - web hosting provide trying to up-sell services for the web site you already have with them.

I am sick to death of this phone number constantly calling my house and then hanging up when someone answers... I am and have been, registered on the DO NOT CALL list and STILL I get these phone calls 5 or 6 times a week and sometimes more then once in a day.

What does it take to get them to quit harassing me?

Interesting that people report this number from numerous companies.  Mine was from a woman from Fat Cow web hosting wanting to save me some money.

This is Fat Cow webhosting company. They're calling you IF you have an account with them already.

I got my call today - 2/4/2013   I purchased a website and got domain hosting from NetFirm.  Evidently, this other company owns a dozen web hosting companies - all of the above, NetFirm and HostGator.  They make 'welcome' calls....and ultimately will call back for upsells.   I asked not to be called and Mike said he'd take me off the list.

I power is ok but they are making decisions that make me have to leave them for the lack of trust. I've been with them 6 years. They, out the blue, get rid of the software that I developed my site with.  They force me from a free unlimited page development software to one I have to pay for over 6 pages.

They say it was a problem, but I don't know anyone who had a problem with sitedelux. I believe it was a decision to make me have to pay. They also did not give me a chance to fix my site with the program and I now have to totally re-build my site.  Doesnt sound like good customer service to me.

Imagine, you find out this morning that your site is no longer valid or can be worked on and you have customers call to make changes and you can't do it until you learn a new software and totally re-build you site.  Who has time for this.  All because they want to make more money on my work load.

I told them today that I was firing them because if they do this, what else would they do.

It now belongs to iPage.  I didn't answer as I did not recognize the number, then listened to the voicemail after finding this site listing.
They left a very nice voicemail thanking me for using them and to call them back at an 877 should I have any questions, so unusually, I think this is now an OK number!

I use my "Google Voice Phone Number" (it's free) for everything I pay for online. I've been with Powweb, FatCow, now iPage. This # has been blocked and I do not get calls from them anymore. If you're smart you will NOT use your cell number or landline number when buying crap online.

OK, so I got this same 602 call today on my cell with no message left behind...after reading this post, I'll never answer that number.  Thanks....

Someone from this number calls our office several times a day and hangs up. Would like very much for it to stop.

Call back and dial extension 2000 - it will reach Alex, a supervisor.

They have been calling me for months and not saying anything and just hanging up.

It has you enter a 4 digit extension when you call them back.  You cant get through to a real live person otherwise.

I happened to guess and it worked for extension "2000".

It was Alex, a supervisor.  So, if they are harassing you, then you can call them back, dial extension 2000 and let Alex know his minions are a bunch of morons.

When I answered there was no one on the other end. I dont give out the number they called on often but 2 days ago I signed on with netfirms.com and the operator asked for my details. I suspect my number is now public on some register... uggg

Its fatcow.com.  I tried their hosting service and it is a JOKE!  My site wouldn't publish and I kept getting the same lame "we had to reset/re-route our servers" response.  It never would come up so I filed a protest with paypal to get my money back.  I'll GLADLY pay more for a service that works.  Their customer service is a joke as well.  Very condescending and rude.  I'll never do business with them again and I would never recommend them to anyone.

I got a call just now from that number. I didn't answer and I didn't get a message. After reading this I'll confirm I hosted my website on fatcow.com (sister site of powweb), I didn't renew but my website expired 2 days ago. Calling me now is pointless because I switch to a cheaper host. (iPage, which is probably another sister site)

Keep in mind its possible this isn't powweb/fatcow that is making these calls. It could be another provider fishing for customers from a list of expiring websites.

Since they called my Google number I'm going to block the dumbasses. I'm not paying 100+ dollars to renew for a year when I can set up a new account for less than $100 for TWO years with another host.

If you want to create a website I suggest you get a free Google Voice Number and use it for your contact information. Otherwise you can't block the calls!

I have used their web hosting service for about 2 years now and their customer service is EXTREMELY helpful. Not sure if they beefed up their management in the past couple of years but I have been incredibly satisfied with them.

I received a call around 2 am in the morning from this number risking coronary arrest! Who are they & what do they want?

Just received call from very nice woman at this phone number.  She represents I-Page's "Jump Start" program for setting up web pages.  (NOTE:  none of the categories on the "call type" fit, so left is as "unknown".

when i asked who he was, he hung up! A88!

I received a call from them, it went to voice mail and then I checked here to see who the number might be.  Then I checked voice mail, and the caller was a customer rep from Fatcow, with whom I just recently signed up for web hosting.  He just wanted to let me know that he was available for web development or any other questions.  It was a very polite phone call, and at a reasonable time of the morning, 10:30 a.m.

Sucks is not profanity, I suggest you take some time research the meanings of words before using them in public.

Got a call from this number comes back to a bogus web hosting number in phoenix arizona

The call was from powweb where we have our website hosted trying to upsell us their own designers, seo, etc.  guess they didn't really look at our site, cause that's what we do! lol

It's a web hosting company also known as "Start Logic"  Apparently it is a telcom co that is used by many different co, or it's many different co using the same resource under many different names!  Know matter what name you know them by THEY SUCK!!!
