Well I have also been getting several calls from this number and I know for a fact that I didn't sign up for any domain so they must be using other ways to get our number. Them calling me at random hours is starting to become very very annoying...

You can simply change your domain registry info (contact your domain registrar to learn how), or change it to a private listing (usually the registrar charges extra for this).
You can also harass the company back buy acting excited to join then bursting their bubble.
Here is an example how:
"I am very interested. In fact I am on your site now. Let's take a look at your clients!" As you click through each client on their website (at http://www.maxebiz.com/client-gallery.html) you will notice they are all dead links. After they try to make a comeback- tell them, "It's okay, mistakes happen. Let me see how awesome your templates are (at http://www.maxebiz.com/sample-templates.html), then proceed to laugh and ask, "What- are you guys still 2003 or something?" or "Are these left over Zen Cart templates from 2005?" then laugh some more and try to sell them a How to do Website Development Package for Dummies.

Hi Ryan,
How did you fix this? I am in the same situation and cannot find where to hid my number.
Thank you!!!

Same guy that posted 20 min prior.
Did some digging.
When i bought my domain from 1&1, my contact information defaults for public when you search under "whois". Which is exactly where my phone number was left out in the open. It's fixed now.
But I am to blame for this telemarketer getting my digits. They definitely snoop the web commerce area.

This number called my cell 4 times in one day. Never left a message. When i did answer it started with "How would you like to make a weekly income?!" I immediately asked to be removed form the list.
From what the comments above say, this is an e-commerce site. And non-coincidentally i just bought a domain from 1&1.com nine days ago. A week before that I registered with squarespace.com. I can't say who may have leaked my info. But since I joined 1&1 I've been getting spam via email and phone all for wed hosting related spam.

This Company Is a Web Development Company that is trying to sell E-Commerce Solutions. I am a web developer by trade. They definitely got my number from some sort of paid list.

They've called me several days in a row, but they never leave a message. Probably a telemarketer.
| Jason 2013-07-16 17:06:53 Unknown |
They've called twice, and I normally don't answer my phone when I don't recognize the number. They're not leaving messages either. Probably not legit.

It's a company that does web hosting. They the wanted to charge me a $199.00 for web hosting, but when I told him "no" he drop the price down to $99.00 and then after to $39.00... I think this company is fraud.
