Everyone keeps asking who this number belongs to but if they just looked at previous posts they would see it.  This phone number belongs to First Financial Asset Management and they are real creeps.  They don't verify debts, they debit more money from your account when you agree to set up a payment plan, they DON'T SEND RECEIPTS for payments, and they WILL track down everyone related to you and call them relentlessly.  They handle a lot of HSBC's credit cards when you don't pay on them... for instance, my Best Buy credit card got sent to them.  After about 3-4 months of harassing phones calls every single day, the account got sent back to HSBC's in-house collections - THANK GOD.  They are much more professional, and provide proof of everything, and don't call 8000000000 times a day.  I arranged a payment plan with them and have had no issues.  

SO YOUR BEST BET IF YOU KNOW YOU OWE ON A CREDIT CARD AND UNFORTUNATELY GOT SENT TO THESE MORONS - DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, ESPECIALLY YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, WHICH THEY WILL ASK FOR RIGHT AWAY.  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER OR THEY WILL DRAIN YOU DRY.  Just ignore them, put up with the phone calls and voicemails for a few months, and your account will eventually get sent back to the original credit card company which you KNOW is legit.

ya i just got one too. the thing i don't get is if they are a debt collector then when i answered why didn't they talk? i even tried calling back several times but nobody on that end would pick up the phone... something isn't right with that. i don't really believe its a debt collector.

For the AZ address the suite is #310. Their name is First Financial Asset Manangement. You can indeed write a letter and tell them to stop calling and writing. They have 4 offices nationwide and will call from different locations.

They are relentless bill collectors. Just got done being harrassed by one. I now have their address in hand and intend on writing a letter to request they stop calling. Does this still work? I have heard that if you request in writing that they stop calling they have to honor the request, otherwise you can take legal action for harrassment. BTW the address is: First Financial (at least that is what comes up in caller ID). 2800 N. 44th St. Pheonix AZ 85008.

It is First Financial. They are a bill collecting agency and they are relentless. You can't talk to them, they yell and scream and don't listen to anything you have to say. I owe on a medical bill, but am currently unemployed due to a lay off and the economy. I tried to explain that and all the man did was yell, scream and threaten. Such a highlight to my day.

They call constantly, from this and other 602 numbers.  It is a debt collector asking for my ex-girlfriend.  I tell them each time that she long ago moved back to Canada and no longer lives with me, yet they keep calling.  I recently figured out that I can block their numbers with my VOIP phone service from earthlink.  Now it is amusing to look at my call activity on line and see how many "missed calls" I have from these jerks (when they call, it shows on my call activity, but all they get from my end is interminable ringing).  They are still calling upwards of four times a day, even though they get no answer!  No matter -- I never hear it ring now...

Caller is inquiring about a bill that does not exist, the person he is asking for is an invalid in bed unable to answer the phone. An accountant has paid all bills and taken of all finances.

First Financial with the area code 602 is a collection agency. I thought they were my bank, come to find out it was a collection agency who used the bank name to get through.

Have recieved at least 5-6 calls in the last two days...also from 602-778-6987.  Tried to call back...just kept ringing...

i picked a new t-mobile pay as you go phone yesterday, s****y, but whatevs. I got two calls from this number this morning.

I have been getting calls from this number for 2 months now, sometimes 4-5 a day.  No one is there when I pick it up.  Day or night it does not matter- who is this.  I have tried to call this number back but there is never any answer.  I have added it to my cells' "block this number " feature but it still rings.  What can I do?

I've been getting calls too. For about 2 weeks, 2-3 times a day... I answer, and no one is there. Once, it told me to hold, had some hold music for about 3 minutes, and then hung up on me...
