I don't know how in the world they got my extension. If they call again they are being blocked and reported.

Jesse, you no longer have to re-register. The DNc has been permanent for a few years now. Once registered, always registered, unless you remove or change numbers or Opt out of the service.
I too use Digitone and use the Universal Blocking feature. I then white list my local area code and block certain numbers within that area code. Our phone no longer rings except when the call is welcomed. All unwanted callers have been blocked and we never hear the phone ring. Love it...

602-797-2777 called today and was blocked by our Digitone call blocker. (We block every area code 9#########, 8##... 0##.) Obviously we didn't answer it. Someone we know who wants to talk to us would call back (rarely the case), so this works great. To their credit they called at 9:45 in the morning; we've been getting a few a week at 11:00 PM... often without a number to report. The Digitone blocks them also. About the only ones that are blocked and shouldn't be are people who, for some unknown reason, block their home phone number. We have been on state and federal do-not-call lists for years? and reregister regularly, so nearly any call that is blocked is a scam, including Knowledgenet. If a legitimate business calls again after being asked to stop they are subject to a fine of $16,000.00.

Called asking for our head of IT. I asked what it was regarding and she said "the network". I asked for more clarification and she said "Cisco by Microsoft". I informed her that we do not use cisco and she asked if our IT manager was available. I replied that I screened his calls and would tell her the same thing, we don't use Cisco. "No, Cisco by Microsoft," she said. "Uh huh. Got that. We don't use them." She sighed heavily and hung up.

Caller ID said 000-000-0000. I picked up the phone and "Nikki" asked for our General Manager. Not in today...then asked for HR Manager...also not in today. I asked if I could help her and she replied that I couldn't because "a receptionist" doesn't have any authority. An incorrect presumption on her part. When I asked of there was a company name and number I could give my General Manager, she said she cannot accept incoming calls, but she did say the name of her company is Knowledge Net. They are an IT Training company. After a quick check - I plan on blocking this caller.

I called the number you 877 number and the woman that answered that number was very nice and took us off the list and apologized for the way Felicia acted. So if it as simple as taking my number off I am happy :)

I just got a call from them as well, asked for the head of IT...huh...well when this is an IT company funny to ask for that person. She asked for their voicemail, and I said she was speaking to it and she said she would shoot him an email...I asked if I could help and she said no... asked who it was and she said Felicia and hung up. I'll be watching the email for a "Felicia" :)

Called asking for someone that no longer works at the company I am at. Called and said "Hi I am so-and-so and calling for Jim." We do not have a Jim that works here, and when I said "There is no Jim here" he said "Okay thanks." As he was supposed to have hung up, I hear him chatting to his friends "GOD why are people so rude?!". When I responded, "Excuse me?" he finally hung up. Rude telemarketers. Give it to 'em good.
