They called my daughter's cell multiple times in the past.  I decided to call it back from a restricted number and a guy answered the phone claiming to be doing a "national newspaper campaign". He said he noticed my number came up restricted and asked if I lived in the Houston area. I told him "No" and he then asked where I was calling from and I told him "Arizona" and "that I had dialed the wrong number".  He said "Okay" and I hung up.  Very strange indeed.

If they're continuing to harass you, file a complaint with the FCC at fcc.gov.

Got 2 calles from this number and no messages. I allready have the AZ newspaper. SOOO dont know why there calling . tried to look the number up and only found out its in Phx.  Thanks for your input here.

They called 9 o clock at night and my wife answered. She told the person no thank you and he continued on about the paper. She said no again and that they would pile up in the driveway. He said "oh are you that lazy to where you can't get the paper" . She got upset and he called her bitter! I then got on the phone and told him I should ring his neck.......being my wife is disabled and has had four spinal surgeries. He was a smart a** and told me to come on down. Asked for his supervisor, which he would transfer me to, eventually did and he didn't seem to care. Epic fail!!!!!

I ended my subscription in June of 2012.  I am still getting calls from this number which is a promo for AZ Republic even though I have asked more than 6 times to be removed.  Where do I go next with this? This is harrassment!

Same thing these people call day and night 4 to 5 times a day up to 9 pm at republic on the do not call list yet they keep calling and to top it off I already subscribe to the as republic but if they calling I'm tempted to drop the service

I've received this call several times.  Nobody on the line when I answer.  Probably some moron trying to be funny.

Have received multiple calls in a week. Some I miss, some I pick up and get disconnected instantly. So decided to call back. No ring, but its picked up instantly and lady says "thank you for calling back. We would like to offer you a special subscription for your local newspaper. What state do you live in?"  Hung up on her. Very shady!!
