This number is calling leaving automated messages for the Republican National Party, spouting worse-than-usual republican lies.  I called back and a man named Jim answered and said they do a number of automated calls, and said he could add us to their do not call list, but there is no bigger do not call list.  Our state republican office said the main office is 202-863-8500 - but trying to reach anyone there at 6pm EST (3pm Pacific time) was fruitless.
