This number called me today, i didn't pick up and they left no message... weird.

recieved call from 603-244-3332 left message claiming to reduce my interest rate on my home,,,,, which i dont own a home. called the 8884420803 number back that they left and some lady said what is your number, and i told her i would like it removed from her list and she said ok whats the number, i gave it to her and she just hung up on me. obviously a scam

same voicemail...no one I've ever talked to although he insinuates it in the message.

I just got called from 6032143332.   I said hi.  Male voice said hello, then hung up.  I googled the number and found this thread.

left a voicemail on my PERSONAL cell phone saying something along the lines of "hey again, (as if ive spoken to him before) i'm calling you about the credit card interest rate problem we talked about before. (the what?) well i've found the solution! (of course you have.) you can get your rates as low as %1.5. this is the last time ill be making a courtesy call so call me back today at 18884420803"   what a cheap scam. stupid stupid stupid.

Identical experience to Madison WI above.  ring - answer - slightly nasal male voice "Unh, Hi," then silence and connection broken at 15 seconds. 6032143332.

Probable male caller said "Hey". When I asked who was calling, the caller hung up.

Same thing here... phone rang about 40 min ago when I was at lunch with a friend.  Didn't recognize the # so let it go to voicemail.  Basically got a message on how they could lower my interest rates... definitely sounds fishy...

I got a call around 3pm today. We might have similar numbers perhaps. My area code is 608.
603 is New Hampshire, and I don't know anyone from there.

I did pick up though, it was a man with a medium nasally voice. Caucasian. All he said was, "Yeah. Hi." then the call went out or something, he couldn't hear me but the call wasn't "lost".

Just received the same.  A male said, "yeah, hi" and then nothing although the line stayed open for a bit.

Me too...   "yeah, hi" and nothing...  They called my business cell phone!  A quick Google search brought me here - looks like I'm not the only one.

Ughhh... How do telemarketers get my cell phone number?? I have added both cell phones and the house phone to the do not call list but it doesn't seem to help!

Called and  left a message about lowering credit card interest rates to as low as 1.5%. Referred to 1-888-442-0803. Obviously a scam... thanks for the reports

Just got the same call. Answered, got a "yeah hi" and before I could ask who was calling he hung up. Crazy how many people have posted up here from the same call. Makes you really wonder how many people they are doing this to.

I just got a "hey guy, it's dale" saying he could lower my credit card rates...it's BS.

Telephone Management Corp (TMC). TMC is the bad guy.  It has a business model of being a proxy service, which is used to hide and support criminals and fraudsters.  TMC buys a phone number from a phone company, and sells the phone number to fake telemarketers/autodialers/criminals/fraudsters.  Whoever will pay them $.

When you call a TMC number, a recorded female voice says "thank you for calling back... If you are not interested in receiving any future calls regarding our special promotions, and would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press one now...." etc...

If you press "one" to get off their list, you get even more calls.  If you press 2 to speak to a person, they hang up on you.  TMC facilitates crime and fraud and illegal autodialing and DNC violations.  They claim to just sell phone numbers and a do-not-call compliance system to their clients, but make no effort to ensure that their customers' telemarketing schemes comply with the law.  They know that their customers illegally autodial people and never remove people from call lists; they know that their customers pitch scams like illegal advance fee frauds and fake refinancing and credit improvement services, attack senior citizens and other vulnerable adults, and engage in crime.  TMC nevertheless claims that it is helpless to stop facilitating this behavior.
