Called twice in a short time without leaving a message. I hadn't picked up the phone.

Hang up call. Clicks off within a fraction of second of answering

Did not answer the call. I am so used to getting out of area calls on my cell that I just silence the call and do not answer

Called left a 4 minute blank phone message

Now they are calling Nashville. The taped message I receieved said there was a problem with two of my credit card accounts and I needed to either press 1 to hear more options, or press 2 to be removed from the listing.

For starters, I don't have credit cards, so I knew this wasn't right. I hung up rather than making a selection and locking in my phone number.

Skunks. Just plain old skunks making broadcast phone calls.

Message wanting to offer me a lower interest rate!!

Answered, after short pause robo-message began.  It stated that 'while there is not a problem with your credit card account, we would like to lower your interest rate to 6.9%.  Press one for more information.'  No mention of what company or card.  Obviously some non-legit nastiness.

Called but I didn't answer...left a taped voice mail:

A financial institution (unnamed) trying to sell me a credit card.

got the call, answered, as soon as I could tell it was an automated telemarketer I hung up.

So what exactly makes you think this is a debt collector?
Nothing you have posted - except your assumption based on nothing - says so.

1-603-214-3579  called me many times and hung up.
When I finaly talked to them, they said I had an outstanding debt, but it's not true.
Then they called back the next day and mentioned lowering my credit card bills, total bogus.
This company tricks you into giving private info so they can sell it to other companies, beware and tell them NO !

I answered the call, and they offered to lower my interest rate on a credit card.  Recording

This is a new one- does come up as Mobile Broadban on Caller ID, but VM left, mentioned that they can restructure my mortgage to a fixed rate lower interest loan now- call 1-800-xxxxxx. I suspect that because they vary their pitch they are really a spoof ID site that verifies your number as live if you answer by calling back the 800 number; and then gets the debt collector a chance to talk to you directly.

Know your rights, and keep in mind that it is a business to them, they need to accomplish certain goals in their work; in our case many of these debt collectors are at 3-5 times removed from the original debt- can they furnish the proof that they really have the "goods on us?"- If I had the money I would still go back to the original debtor.

Go to one of their sites and see what they promise to a "customer" (debtor looking to collect). At 2-3 years they have such low collection rates that they often only pay 1-5 cents on the dollar of debt- do they ever offer any break even with you? of course not! Make your peace with your debtor directly or have them furnish proof that they no longer own the debt.

I received a phone call from what was ID as Mobile Broadband on my home phone.  The person or machine did not identify itself nor would they talk to me on the phone.  The next call I received from this company.  I will let my cat answer the phone.  Perhaps my cat will be able to get them to talk.

Nope, it's not us.  We stopped dialing in Nov-2007.

Received a robocall from 603-214-3579 listed as Mobile Broadband on my CallerID. It was a solicitation for credit card transaction services and an option to leave a voicemail for "Mary Wilson."

This is the 3rd call I've received from this outfit - although calling from different phone numbers. Each time I report them to http://donotcall.gov

If anyone has any information on how I can take legal action through the State of California (where I live and "Telelytics" does it's robo-calling from) against this firm, I would appreciate it.

Very odd name on the caller ID "COMPANY DNCLIST" looks like BS, is 'DNC List' supposed to be Do Not Call list?  Looks like a trick to get people to answer the call.

I listened to the whole message and left a voicemail for "Mary Wilson" telling her she'd called a personal cellphone.

Similar to some above... rang, didn't look familiar, before I could google it, it stopped ringing (but that was maybe 5 rings).  ID said MOBILE BROADBAND.
