They called me offering an english course, they said they were from a Latin Association. Has anybody received the same kind of call?

They called a friend and offered an English course that costs $1000 but that he qualified for a discount and he was only going to pay $300.  Then, months later called threatning with arresting us and didn't want to give out their information.  They identified themselves as Department of State.

I keep getting calls from this number and insist on speaking Spanish. Then they hang up.

There's all kinds of spam number these days, I got a call from this number also, I suggest to save it as a "spam number" or "fake number" list, whatever you wanna name it, next time they call, you'll see it as what you named it on your caller ID, answer and quickly HANG UP!!! Don't answer "hello" or say anything else,,, just hang up, they'll take you off their list. One thing they hate is being hanged up on since they need to meet some sort of "call quota". A "hang up" does not qualify as a call quota and you just wasted their time.

I received a call from this number as well, I didnt answer and no message was left, but 1 minute later they called again, this time I did answer, a confused woman asked me if I spoke spanish, I said no why are you calling me, she hung up. When I called back the number it says that it has been disconnected! Do not give them info!!!!!

So I just got a call from this number they said something about a latin association of some sort asking me who I was, I'm also on the do not call list so I dont give any personal information out. I asked who they wanted to talk to she couldn't say so I told her to stop calling me and I hung up. Within seconds I got a call again so i sent it to voice mail and she left some disturbing sound I'm not sure what she said but I could tell it was a curse mumble of some sort. Very odd I can hear background house noises. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION !!!

got many missed calls from over the past month in Nov 2009
when i call it back it will sometimes ring or wont ring. When i get to the voicemail it states. " CP 22 U.S Cellular, this number is no longer in service "

IS 11:15 PM GOT LIKE 8 CALLS FROM THESE # THE ENTIRE WEEK, PLEOPLE NEVER EVER GIVE TO ANY BODY YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, WE KNOW THAT THESE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT IS ONLY MONEY ECONOMI IS SO BAD AND IS VERY EASY TO OFFER SO MANY THINGS AND THAT WAY WE MAKE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE TO GIVE THEM OUR PERSONAL INFO, WE HAVE TO MAKE A STOP TO THESE KIND OF PLEOPLE.

1. It's after 10 PM. Telemarketers know better! called 8 times today!
2. Can't be called back; it's a disconnected message 123 number! Like a mobile phone!
3. New home phone service already slammed.so sad..

Funny thing is that they said they were calling all the latins lol but they did not know my name, they kept trying to get my information. I hanged up on them and they kept calling and calling and calling until I told them to leave me the F alone.
I am also on the do not call list but I think it is not telemarketers, they are scammers.

I looked up this number and the area code (1) is From Colombia bogota!!

Called and when I answered, they hung up on me.  Caller ID says it was from New Hampshire.  And I'm on the DO NOT CALL list.
