Hi there,

Well done you for the foresight to check out the number firstly! Can you give me any more details regarding this person? I have been investigated for workplace matters by a man of this name ...and have a large amount of concerns arising from the events that have occurred, and being denied information about this person, and from this person regarding his investigation. Do you know where he claimed to work .. or which company he was acting for in contacting you? Anything, even if you think it may not be important, I would be grateful to know. And also, the location .. state, town you are in; and if you can, the workplace matter alleged and name of workplace ..? Thank you so much. If you would prefer, please back and i can provide you with my email address so you can reply to me privately if you wish .. I hope i hear from you. Thank you.

I have had the same thing happen to me. They call my old work number, my cell phone, and random family members numbers threatening they have a warrant out for my arrest and someone is sueing me. What kind of legitimate collection agency would call and threated you?. How do we stop these people from doing this ?? They must by law show you proof of debt owed and send you something in writing. This is not the first time thety have called me either, it's been several differnt people and numbers threating to have me picked up by the sheriff or local police with a case number or affidavit. These people are crooks and scam artists that need to be STOPPED

I got a call at my mother's house stating that I was going to be arrested for fraud due to a payday loan I had taken out 4 years ago which was true.  When I called back I sat on hold for almost 30min before someone picked up.  When I finally spoke to someone they seemed very uneducated and tried to tell me I owed the payday loan place 1000 which might of been and said they would settle for 600 or so.  I bereaved then and we set the days for payment which was 2 times a month 100 and 150.  The last payment they had told me I had was in September on a day I didn't ever agree with them taking money out on.  So again I called these a***oles and again I sat on hold for 45 min this time pissed off even more.  After I talked to another uneducated person they told me that they had great news that it was my last payment thank god I said.  I had called a few times before this and everytme I called I sat on hold for ever.  Now here we are today and I was looking in my bank account and low and behold there's 150 taken out by pinnacle solution services after they had told me a month ago I was done with payments.  I'm reporting these people as soon as I'm done with this post.

I also received messages from this number since September 11, 2012.  I could not make a name out but it sounded like they said Florida Investigation unit, they said I was named a respondent in a court action suit and an order to show cause with a restraining order left a claim and affidavit number.  I do not answer the phone if I'm not sure who it is, so they just keep leaving messages.

Yes they will know information about you, from your job to your bank to your ssn, family ect. Do not fall for it, they are full of Sh**. Request additonal information to be mailed to you or faxed ect. They need proof, their are legal steps they must follow to collect from you and you will receive more than 48 hours to pay a true collection company. No company expects payment so quickly when they refuse to provide solid evidence of a debt.  I get they call more than I realized and my husband and I always request they mail additional information or take me to court or even jail if they feel necessary. I am not affraid of their crap anymore and jail is just a good nap these days when you have kids (Just kidding, I would not survive jail)

So I get a similar call this morning, however it starts off with a woman calling from and unknown number and told me to call this 603 number and gave me an affidavit number. Thinking that it was funky I decided to call and google the company and found this website and many others complaining about these people. Now that I sit and think about it, my husband received phone calls about a year ago tell us that he would have a restraining order put against him if he didn't response in 48 hours and we thought it was to do with my stepson and his ex wife and her crap!  We turned the information over to our attorneys then and nothing every happened, he told us their was no restraining order.  Then I thought farther back and we sent money several years ago to a company tell my husband he would go to jail if he didn't pay back a loan that neither of us remembered taking out so we got the money from his dad to the tune of 1300 dollars and paid them. I would assume that was a scam too!  We were young and dumb then and now I am smarter. I may not have perfect credit but my bills are paid and this crap makes me mad! Especially for the poor person that falls for it.

I have received two calls from a person saying their name is agent Davis and that they have an afidivat for me to appear in court for a restraining order that someone has put on me and I need to call 603-856-0338. Also, they mentioned something about garnishing my wages and I need to call the above number or give it to my attorney to call. I think it's a debt collection calling trying to trick you into calling them. They have called me at work and at home.

This is the third time within 6 months that I have gotten these type of calls and I checked the phone number online and found out it is a scam just as I suspected. These people need to be stopped from harrassing people. I think they are debt collectors in disguise. My main concern is the impact this type of conversation would have on any elderly people whom such harrassment would upset them and they might wind up paying something they don't even owe.

I called my states comsumer protection agency after having a break down, of sorts. Now all I need to file the complaint with them is the address. Maybe when enough people start questioning these calls they will stop.
I can't afford to lose my job over the threat of a fraud charge, I almost screwed up by sending them the money the demanded by days end. Glad I didn't and got smart, and made the call the the Consumer Protection Agency in my state.  DO THE SAME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, WHETHER YOU OWE A DEBT OR NOT, THERE ARE RULES THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW.

I received a voicemail on my cell phone from a woman identifying herself as "Special Investigator Taylor Thompson" asking to speak to "Alice Price"; I have no idea who "Alice Price" is... probably just a sneaky way of getting me to call back.  Ms "Thompson" provided a case number and said something about a restraining order appearing in court; she also provided 603-856-0338 as the office number.

They left a message on my cell saying I had a Retraining Order on me. Gave me an affidavit number and I called back and was on hold for about 3 mins. I hung the phone up.  This is crap.  The police should be able to track them down and put them where they belong behind bars.  I feel bad for our elderly people that fall for that crap.

Debt Collector
Got a call from 603-856-0338 today.  It claimed it was concerning an "affadivat" - and "restraining order" and "show cause" .  Coincidentally - two days ago I had a call from another company claiming the same things - using a different phone number, Luchey & Associates - their phone number was 855-393-4944.

I called the 855 number back.  They could give me no details, but they claimed it was a "criminal" matter - naming me a respondent in a court case, and that it involved seizing of legal assets, 3 pending charges, and rescheduling a court date.  She said that the judge had told them to make it a "rectifiable" matter, where they couldn't arrest someone for just not showing up - and that the judge had made it "rectifiable" because the charges had a minimum of six months jail time.  I have never heard of this legal language before - regarding a summons to court - I have never heard of a "rectifiable" order from a court.  Maybe this is legitimate legal language, but it doesn't seem like a legitimate phrasing.

I said I thought they couldn't arrest you for just not showing up at court - never mind there had been no legal notice mailed, or anything - and that's when she started saying, well, maybe they wouldn't actually arrest the person, maybe they would just reschedule the court date. (Can anyone say Stephanie Plum? - From the Janet Evonovitch novels?  This is the lie Stephanie Plum (who is a bond enforcement agent) tells people when they have skipped out on a bond in a court matter.)

This certainly seems like a scam.  It did seem like they were threatening legal action just to scare people, and they would not say what the original charge was - although I think they did mention owing money - why would they seize assets in a criminal charge case?  I have a little legal knowledge - worked doing office work in a law firm for several years, and their legal phrasings were all a little off.

What bothers me is that is two calls like this in a row - the first time from the 855-393-4944, and now from the 603-856-0338 number.  I didn't call the 603 company back.  It seems like they are targeting certain phone numbers and I don't want to give them any information.  Hope this helps people.
