I got one on Valentines at 9:23 AM.  The caller was Wm. Ostrander.   He was a teacher and friend to me who died last year.

I got one of the calls on Valentines morning 9:23 AM.  I was unable to take the call.  For some reason the phone would not let me answer, and my caller ID screen showed nothing, until the ringing stopped.  When the ringing stopped and the caller ID screen came back it said Wm Ostrander.  Wm Ostrander was a teacher and  friend to me.  He died last year.

I called this number and got a recording that this number is out of service. My question is if its out of service, how did I receive a phone call from it?

Received a call from a company offering chimney sweeping services. I told the caller I am on the national Do Not Call registry and he continued giving his sales pitch anyway. I interjected this several times and each time I did the caller would interrupt and continue trying to deliver his sales pitch. When he realized I had no intention of letting up, he hung up on me.
