called went to vox and no message left twice

this is a call from a company called consumer advocates. It was a computer. They called my cell phone so I was upset. I pressed 1 to speak with someone. When they answered I asked them the name of the company. He stated Consumer Advocates. Immediately asked if I wanted removed from their call list. I said no to throw him off the scent. I then asked where they were located. The guy then hung up on me. I wanted the info because it is illeagle to solicit a cell phone. Plus I have my cell number registered on the do not call list.

Called, but didn't leave message. Clearly a scam if 24 people have already reported it today.

i got he same number called on my cell phone and i live in the USA how are they getting the number?  so i called form a different phone and it says its disconnected from BC area...... nice way to screw poepl over thanks god we are all smarter then them lol

Got a call on my cell w/ this number. Caller ID said it was from British Columbia, Canada. Didn't answer, no voicemail left.

I bet it's a computer calling everyone's phone and then they are hoping you go online to search who that number belongs too, when you do, the option to "PAY" for Reverse Call Back Information" comes up.  It's just a scam don't waste your money.  They want you to pay a fee to find out absolutely nothing.  SCAM I TELL YOU!!!

I bet it's one of the companies that advertise the "Reverse Call Back Number" and they hope you'll click on the link above and pay the price to find out who it was.. I'll bet you!!  Don't use those Reverse Call Back Numbers is a scam.  They call everyone one (or a computer does) and then when you search to see who's number it is, the option to "PAY" to get the correct information comes up.  IT'S A SCAM don't waste your money.

got a call left a voice message but didn't say anything on the recording.  call came from 1-604-213-2641 British Columbia, Canada

Got a call and they hung up with out saying anything. Looked it up and it said vancouver.

Picked up and heard static for a sec and then nothing. Called my cell phone.

I didn't answer but called the number back when no voicemail was left and was advised that the number is invalid or no longer in service? Came up as British Columbia on my cell.

Called and left me a voicemail, sounded like an ad? Saying if I was in debt to call them for help and stuff.
