Nixon was picked up Jan. 20 on a warrant for being unlawfully at large. Four days later, he pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud under $5,000 and possession of fraudulent identification. He was sentenced to six months in jail.

The last time he went to jail Nixon, 30, was back to selling fake tickets the afternoon he was released. In fact, he was out peddling bogus tickets to Leafs and Raptors games with ads on Craigslist, when police picked him up for being on the lam from the Mimico Correctional Institute.

Just got scammed out of $600 for leafs tickets yesterday! Said he was Adam Carson and have me the same number! Called the OPP and western union! Now have 2 disappointed boys and no leaf tickets! Love to meet him on the street!;)

he told me his name was ryan Robertson from fort st john. this guy needs to go to jail.

I got the same Adam Carson with same phone number. This time he was from Fort St-John, BC, although the address he provided was for a street and postal code in Atlin, BC.

I proposed doing a COD for the tickets, but he asked for Moneygram or Western Union instead. When I pointed out the address discrepancy and kept insisting on C.O.D., he claimed he got RCMP to issue a warrant against me for 'theft by conversion'.

Coincidentally, got a spam 'Apple update' email shortly after his last thread too : )

Seems to be a scam artist selling bogus tickets for sporting and other events.

Called himself Adam Carson when we were looking for Leafs tickets.

Is the number he used. Said he was in Nipigon Ontario. I had him email his phone # and then I called him. Nothing matched with the internet, said he worked for Rogers, and got very very potty mouthed when I backed out.

Also said he 'had a friend' in Chatsworth Ontario, and that the 'friend' could meet me in Owen Sound, so perhaps he is in that area?
