Yes, got the same letter, yellow paper, red "fake handwriting" with info, not sure but these things are usually a scam I have been a Realtor for 18 years and again when people are offering to buy your house without seeing, seems a bit odd, don't you think. PS Never let anyone into your home either you never really know what they are looking for and gathering your personal information.

I got one in the mail. Turns out he works with investors and is sitting on lots of cash. He bought my house and I got my money when he said from the lawyer. All it is is a marketing tool to find sellers.

Just got this same note in the mail.  Seriously?  If you are legit, call my agent.  Dumb a$$.

Just got a note in the mail too...funny, it was on my move out day - we have already sold.  Not going to call or report, but when reverse searched the number I came across this link.

How much will it appraise for?
How much do you owe on house?
Is the mortgage current or in arrears?
Is the house occupied?
How much is it listed for?
Sounds very fishy .. probably a bottom feeder.

Thanks for the post. Received the same letter in the mail today. Chnaces are you have had your house on the market for 3months or longer and this Chris guy wants to take advantage of this.

i just called the number and he has sent them out to alot of people.  i called and got my address taken off the list but did not give them my name or number!   what a joke!

It said the same thing! The lettering on the note is definitely printed and not handwritten, although it was made to look like it was! I am thinking scam.
