Any charity that barges into my home and demands money gets nothing. No exceptions. And yes, I consider a phone call to be barging in.

This is legit. It's Children's Hospital with a pretty good donation idea. They send you a coin box and you put your loose change into it for about 3 months and then send them a cheque or money order for whatever ends up in it. I found it a pretty easy way of making a worthwhile donation.

Received a call from this #, the caller started saying "hi can i speak to.." before I greeted her and announced my name. I guess what I said interrupted her, she stopped and hung up.

Recieved 2 calls from this number today. No messages were left and when I tried to call back the number it doesn't ring, I just get a beeping tone (almost like a busy signal, but slightly different).

Received 1 call today at 1733 Hrs. No message left as I have a gadget that requires pushing #5 on THEIR phone to further communication with me or leave a message on my recorder.
Caller ID showed no name.Googled 411.ca-showed nothing.

Rec'd a call from this number today asking for my husband by name. Asked if there was a mssg but said they would try him another day. Curious about why they called and couldn't speak to me.

I've had a few calls from this number as well as 800-388-2873, I didn't answer. Today I recieved the 484-1363 number my husband answered. We have an unlisted number, and yet he called me by my first name. He said he was calling on behalf of the BC Children's Hospital and wanted to send me a coin box to get my friends and family to contribute, I explained that I do fund raising where I work, for the Children's Hospital, he would not take no for an answer, I hung up. I would like to know how with an unlisted number he knew my name, and how excactly he was going to get this coin? The 800 number was HCB as well
