telemarker scam.

rep tells you your name was selected in a draw for $x, and that you've won a,b,c entry level prizes.  

your name is also selected for a grand prize of $y, and all that is required at the moment is to tell the rep which entry level prize you'd like to claim right now.

I got a call today around 2pm on my cell number, but it didn't leave a message.
The caller ID just shows the number only. Only rang 3 times then stopped.

We got the call too.  I'm glad I googled them or I wouldn't have found this site!  They call with a "survey" where they ask you stupid questions about air quality in your house (do you own a pet, does anyone in your home have asthma, etc.) then the following week someone calls to thank you for doing their survey and offer you a choice of prizes.  My selection included a night's stay at an unnamed hotel, a Slap Chop (and the Graty too, ooh!) or a car shampoo kit.  Huh?  What?  People fall for this stuff?  I asked them why they were giving this stuff away - what benefit is it to them?  What were they trying to sell me?  I told them it just didn't sit well with me and the woman got mad, told me she'd give the prize to the next person and hung up on me.  Good riddance.

Health Tech-  says you won a prize, booked an appointment to introduce their system... they didn't show up for it even and I called them and they tried again to reschedule the appointment...I declined.  This was my intro to this company.. I think I'll pass on their products too!  pssst...they will call until you answer!

Central Clean Air,  they have been calling everyday for a couple weeks.  Tonight we answered and the lady hung up on my wife.  I called them back at told them to never call again.  I think they clean furnaces or air conditining units.
